Calm Paws Protective Collar (Box), Medium, Collar Medium

I am really glad I purchased this. I put this on my miniature schnauzer when I was working in the house an she was not within sight. It was way more comfortable for her. I however did not use it on her when I went to work I used the cone the vet gave me. I didn’t want to take a change that she may find a way to get it off. I just felt my girl needed a break from the cone when we could and this was perfect! She weighs 20lbs and I purchased a medium.

Purchased this for my chocolate lab, size XL. Arrived very quickly. Unlike most other inflatable collars, this one comes with a couple extras...a big piece of velco that holds the two end of the collar together and a long piece of nylon webbing with a clasp...one end is already attached to collar; take the other end and it goes behind the front legs and then clasps. It will keep the collar in place. Very happy with my purchase!!!

Thought this would be effective after spaying, but our dog could still reach her incision. This is a very comfortable product and way less infuriating than those plastic cones. Unfortunately it is only effective for wounds above the breastbone, or mid-way up the stomach area. Would be good for shoulder injuries, but not for paws. Pets have a lot more maneuverability than with a cone. It is also easier for them to eat and drink. Our puppy did not fight this inflatable collar and was able to go up and down stairs. Unfortunately we had to change to a cone, and returned this product.

It was much more comfortable for my dog than an e-collar. She got used to it right away and it didn't interfere with her being able to eat.

We purchased this for our goldendoodle when she got fixed. She loved it. Very comfortable for her as she even used this as a pillow. Very good quality for the price. Definitely would recommend.

Bought this collar for my pup on Amazon and my daughter bought one for her pup from Petsmart. I have had inflatable collars for my dogs in the past with no problems. This collar comes with straps to wrap around the dogs body so that the collar doesn't flip. This is a good thing, except the straps are poorly sewn in the seam and ripped off within days of use on both dogs!!!! I have no idea how the straps fell out, either. Just very poorly constructed, I guess. I would suggest buying a collar without the straps.

If your dog like mine simply goes nuts when you put a funnel type surgery collar on than this is for you. My little Chiwennie wore hers for 13 days due to her being a 7 month old puppy and refusing to stop jumping on furniture. So it took longer than normal for incision area to fully heal but after 13 days it was completely healed and we were able to take it off. It is an outstanding product and style and quality wise. Does leak a extremely small amount of air but takes a day or 3 for that to happen and you simply take it off and blow it up and I suggest you take it off an hour a day anyway to make sure all is well and not causing any problems and to let her have some relief from wearing a completely strange device on her. I know it would drive me crazy. :-) We only had one problem with it and that was you really need to supervise them closely as if the collar turns they could possibly bite or chew on it where the two ends come together but now if on properly the two ends should be and stay on top not down close to their mouths.As of 8/17/19 - I forgot to mention that this review is strictly for the Calm Paws Protective Collar. Other brands do not, at least in the pictures, show that any other brand has the 3 different fastening methods on them and this greatly if not totally makes this device work as good as it does.

Is likely to work in smaller dogs but failed to prevent our bouvier from getting at his tail. Much more comfortable for him compared to plastic cone but far less effective.

Excellent product worked as advertised.
