Jecod DCS-12000 Aquarium Pump

Great pump straight out of the box. A big variety of inlet/outlet diameters is included for various pipe sizes.

I bought  JECOD DCS-3000 Aquarium Pump  product recently for my sump.Package contents:1x 25W Return pump2x fitting for the return1x for the inlet fitting1x Mesh like plastic cover1x 30W  Jecod controller 1x Sticky Pad for the controller1x Power SupplyThe  JECOD DCS-3000 Fish Tank Return Pump  itself is great and does a great job. The controller is very helpful if the overflow from the tank to the sump is slow so you don’t have to add a tap to control the flow.The feed time feature is great too, you can shut it off when you are feeding your live stocks. I don’t personally like this feature in my set up purely because I have overflow pipes 1.5 inch just below the water level. If the pump is switched off the water will over flow into the sump and the water level in the display tank will be at the level of the over flow pipe, which means I have to cover the overflow pipes to make sure the water is back to 1.5 above the over flow.IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE YOU BUY THIS PRODUCCT: One thing I am very cheesed up with is that the product image on the listing is misleading. The product in the package is totally different to what you will receive until its corrected. The product I ordered initially from the sellers website (APS) took ages to return the product to them, again the product image on their website is the same as here showing different fittings along with the 100W controller. NO, YOU DON’T GET THESE as you see on the product image except for the PUMP  DCS-3000 , sticky pads, power supply to the same in the package. It took a very long time to return the product as the CS of the APS was really bad and I was fed with the them. So I came back and bought the item (after I confirmed from different sellers and websites of what exactly is in the package for DCS-3000) from here as customer service through AZ is a no brainer. I did inform AZ customer service to get the IMAGE corrected before ordering from here as the product image is misleading and I was assured by the support it will be corrected but surely it still hasn’t been corrected here and neither on their website too.I have attached an image showing what you get in the package.NOTE: A slight confusion with the product instruction though. The back of the return pump reads it needs to be submerged in the water before it is run. The instruction in the booklet show the pump can be run/used as a dry pump by attaching a hose pipe to the inlet.The return pump can only be used as the  cold water and Marine setup return pump  not sure why not for the tropical setup though.My overall verdict, it’s a good product and does what it says on the tin. Like the ability to increase and decrease speed and I like that the pump automatically switches itself back on after feeding... I forgot to do that so many times before this pump!In comparison to the pump I had previously, this pump is so quiet I am stunned. The only noise I can hear now is the water tumbling from the tank above into the sump below. My previous pump was great, but it vibrated which made the sump vibrate which in turn made the cabinet vibrate... at times it all got very loud, so this new pump is amazingly quiet.It's completely vibration-free which has stopped any mechanical noise coming from under the tank. The only time I can hear the pump is as it gathers speed after the 10-minutes of feeding is up. It's a slight whirring noise for a few seconds as it speeds up and once up to speed, you really have to listen hard to hear it at all.

I bought this pump as replacement for the one I have had running 24/7 for five years, it hasn't broken but started making a bit of a noise so finally this one has replaced it albeit slightly lower than the original at 9000 l/h instead of the original one which was 12000 l/h am more than satisfied with the performance and quality of these pumps thank you for a great product

Seems to work well enough, although only 24hours in. A negative i have noticed is the pump makes quite a load whistling sound when turned y up full, luckily atm I only use it on a low setting, other than that it’s ok so far. However this is my second attempt at getting a fit for purpose pump from Amazon, so if this goes wrong, I won’t bevusing amazon again fot this type thing! 🤞🏼 It works it’s self out

I use the 3000 version of this pump which is perfect, I ordered this for my algae reactor and it makes a right noise, there’s obviously a problem with the pump. I would recommend as I know how good the 3000 version is, I wouldn’t order from this supplier as being reluctant to help is an understatement, I’ve kept them updated with the issue from day 1 they initially said they didn’t want the pump sent back (which suited me as I didn’t want to dismantle everything) but said would send out a new impeller to try, then they asked for pictures of it in situ, and then asked for a video, which I can’t do because of where the pump is…. And now nothing, no replacement impeller. it seems like that they’ve tried everything not to help or don’t believe me. Won’t be ordering from these again. I suggest you don’t either. Disgusting!
