Paint by number only works if the paints are different colors
As I began painting I soon discovered that several of the paint colors are the EXACT same color as some of the other numbers, like 5 and 7 are the same shade. Instead of creating shading, I’ve created one giant area of the same color. Wouldn’t buy this product again or recommend it to others.

Beautiful! I have never painted in my life, I bought this as a cute idea for a Christmas present to give to my girlfriend. I took my time and spent a few weeks on it. One tip is immediately buy a nice paint brush set dont use the ones it comes with. Paint is very nice and canvas is high quality.

It was so much fun!
I purchased the Framed version because I didn't want to stretch it myself. It was the right choice for me because I began painting as soon as I received it. I numbering was accurate and it was really easy and entertaining. When I was almost done with the painting, I noticed it was slightly different from the original painting because of distinctive lines. The original painting had smeared edges which made it really soft and nice but my painting was just jumping from one color to another without transition. I'm not sure if I made this clear enough. However, after I was done I retouched some of the places and smeared the lines to look more like a real painting and the outcome was awesome! It looks so much better. It was really fun and I enjoyed it a lot!* Light colors may need to be painted twice because the number will show through** Consider smearing the edges (refer to original painting) to get it closer to the original painting*** If you don't want the side of canvas to be left blank, use the left over paints to fill it up because you will have plenty of left overs

Looks just like the photo!
At first I thought it would look nothing like the photo but it honestly looks exactly like it. I’m in love. I do many paint by numbers (I’ve done about 15-20?) and this is my favorite! The numbers were large enough to see, no area was too small to mess up, but it was intricate enough to take a fair amount of time (which is good!)

Perfect for a beginner
This is my first Paint by Numbers and I love it, it easy to follow and extremely relaxing. Looking forward to my next challenge.
