Tiny, cheap, but surprisingly good.
The radio comes with software that is partly named in Chinese, and few instructions - however, it is not difficult to find wikis etc that explain what works with them. I found CHIRP suited my pair better, as it allows me to use one program to set up my Baofengs and my Wouxun 2m/4m handheld - so if you have one or more CHIRP supported radio, it is much simpler to program all of them using one file for the band. For the money they are pretty good, but don't use them on the default channels in the UK - load the correct settings for your region, wherever that is - CHIRP allows access to multiple sites with suitable data, and you can upload from csv - takes around 10 seconds on my USB connection - the cable is really an essential...

Great set of walkie talkies - but get a programming lead too.
Great value for money. The units don't come programmed to the UK PMR446 frequencies out of the box so you will also need a programming cable and a free piece of software called Chirp (Google it), if you want to be on the correct frequencies. The programming cable is also necessary if you want to take advantage of the CTCSS and DCS features, and some of the other options as the radio doesn't have a display or any menu buttons. The set is still incredible value for money even if you have to buy the cable.

cheap and cheerful comms
Nice cheap radios. Did the job. can be charged via USB, so good for portable charging with a power bank or laptop. Used for principal car and backup car for alerts and changes in plans. very handy and come with earpieces as well. Frequencies get crossover with other people chatting but not yo often to be annoying.

Excellent product
I bought these to use whilst working my gundog on various shooting estates and also when helping to run corporate clay shooting days. They seem to be the radio of choice so i bought the same ones as i prefer to have my own gear. They are very robust and have good battery life. I cannot fault them.

1st class for the money
I will be honest and say I did not expect much for the price but was very impressed with the distance they could achieve, I drove up the road and had my son listen as I used them along the way saying 'hello 1 hello 2' every few hundred yards I stopped at 22 (about 2 miles) thinking I was way out of touch but my son said he heard them all. they are good.

Easy to use simple radios
Product received promptly and in full working order. I used the programming cable (supplied separatly) and freely downloaded software called CHIRP to change the frequencies to how I wanted them. This is easily done if you're comfortable with computers. The CHIRP software isn't strictly necessary to make the radios work but I intend to also buy a Baofeng UV5R and ensure all frequencies match across the board and are UK legal.
