Amazing!
I had previously purchased a USB WiFi device from Amazon and it was supposed to have a gain antenna, better signal, etc. It Was worse than the 1 inch X 1 inch plug in WiFi adapter I was using, so I was skeptical about this one, but with all the 5 star reviews, I thought I'd give it a try. WOW! This works amazingly well! I had full bars with my router and saw one neighbor at 1 bar. I plugged this in and nearly a dozen wifi connections came up. I only have a 30 MBS connection. Although my old USB WiFi had full bars, My speed test was always around 14 MBS, I now get 29.8! More than double the speed! This sucker works GREAT! I immediately noticed the difference in speed. The only red flag I see is is in the directions it says ""Do not plug into your USB port for a long time, sometimes you need to pull it out" And it warns against touching it or you might get burned! The directions weren't clear and the "autorun.exe was not an option on the disk, as they suggest. I had my computer expert (my 15 year old son figure it all out) and it's awesome! It worked so well, I bought one for my son since his room is furthest from the router.

A great Dual-Band Wireless Solution for less $- Highly recommended!
This was the best coupla bucks I've spent on computer components in a long time! I have several desktops & laptop PC's I maintain for the small business I own & then I also have my personal work machine, a Dell Inspiron Desktop (Core i3) in addition to a Surface Book (Core i7) which I use as a hybrid work/personal machine. All of the work PC's are several years old at this point & even my personal Dell Inspiron workstation has seen better days. I was recently forced to move the location of that machine & lost the ability for an ethernet connection to our 150/150Mbps internet service and when I did so, I realized that this computer did not have a Wireless card which worked on a 5G WiFi band. I looked into replacing the wireless adapter, but as the machine is aging, so likely to be replaced at some point soon-ish, I found this USB 3.0 1200Mbps capable dongle w/ antennae- which ran on 5G wireless. The thing was "plug & play" on that machine, which has Windows 10 Pro as its OS, but also worked just as easily on all the other work machines with USB 3.0 jacks. The speed is great- much improved over a 2.4Ghz band, but as an adapter, the link speed to the router is also blazingly fast. I really like how on all my Windows 10 machines, I can just right click the WIFi icon in my taskbar tray & in one motion, change from the OEM internet card to this dongle, then auto-login to the 5G WiFi band- it's just as easy to switch back to the OEM adapter the same way. For the money, it's a much better upgrade to my WiFi capabilities for these older computers compared with replacing network adapters, it works as a "Plug & Play" device on Win10 with no manual updates or driver downloads required (Windows will set it up automatically if new drivers are needed) & it is very fast when used in a USB 3.0 jack. You also have better transmission/receiving whether working as a direct adapter for a PC or being used to hotspot an internet connection due to the 5dBi antennae. For full specs, see the listing but it is backward compatible with Windows 10/8/8.1/7. A great product- highly recommended.

Great Customer Service
I bought an older model of this adapter from this company almost a year ago, and it worked great up until a week ago when it suddenly just stopped working. I contacted their customer service via email, and within 24 hours they offered me a free upgraded replacement (this model) purchased through Amazon and refunded through PayPal. I was very impressed with how easy and straightforward the whole process was, and for that reason I'll definitely be buying from them again in the future. The adapter itself works great- I was a little worried that it would be a little too bulky to fit next to all my other USB devices (since the ports are very close together, see picture) but it wasn't a problem. The antenna can be adjusted to any angle, and it's so big that it has no problem at all picking up a string wireless signal from my router through a wall. The only minor complaint I have is that it's not quite plug-and-play like other adapters I've used in the past. I had to install the driver from the provided CD before it would work (which was a pretty painless process). But I could see it being an issue if your computer doesn't have a CD drive since you'd have to find a way to download the driver on a different computer and transfer it over.I had to do the initial connection to my network through the software that comes with the CD (it was having an issue connecting though the standard Windows interface), but after that I could close the program completely and still manage the connection through Windows 10's built in tray icon just fine. Though to my surprise the wireless management program that comes with the CD is actually pretty decent.I haven't done any speed tests with it (my Internet speed sucks anyway), or tried the Access Point mode, but in my opinion this is a solid choice if you're looking for a quick and reliable way to connect to your home wifi and future-proof yourself against any upgrades to your network that might come later.

Works Great and Excellent Customer Service
I bought this item for temporary use based on price point. However, the performance is so good that I am using it as my primary connection rather than a hard line. It is an excellent value and couldn't be easier to set-up. The first unit I ordered broke. The antenna connection cracked at the circuit board and the antenna came off. I contacted the seller and sent them a picture. They immediately shipped a new unit 2nd-day air. The new unit works great. While the product is a little bit fragile, I still give it 5 stars because of the performance and price. Also, because of the no hassle replacement I received. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants an inexpensive product that gets the job done.
