This is a beautiful deck and an absolutely wonderful system. It can be made as complicated or as simple as you wish. I think it may be a mistake to call it an oracle. I am not a fan of 'oracle cards' they are too simple, too large and do not suit me in terms of depth and complexity. I want something I can really get involved in and something that needs to be learned and developed and worked at. Saying that, I have picked up the system quickly and I am already adapting it to suit my needs. These are tarot card sized cards, they handle well and are so beautiful to look at. The art work is gorgeous and the whole set have a very pleasing look and feel. I have had very accurate readings from the cards already and I have been amazed at the accuracy the cards can give when used in conjunction with the phases of the moon tables supplied. These have given the exact date of particular past events and I am interested to see if the same goes for the future predictions in terms of dates. I have begun to use my own spreads and I find these accompany and compliment my traditional tarot cards very well. I think these would be a lovely addition to any card collection. They add something different and have the potential to be very special in their own right. I think there are many different ways of using these cards and that experimental quality makes them quite unique.

I bought the first publication of these cards, and hated them: everything was blue and white. So I bought this set, which is very colourful. My advice is to buy them: you won't be disappointed.

I am very pleased that Eddison Books Limited have reprinted updated and republished this book and Moon oracle deck by Caroline Smith and the late John Astrop. The creators were ahead of their time, Moon Oracle's are very popular these days this one has meat on its bones, still head and tails ahead of most decks, uses mythology to convey meaning. The new packaging looks lovely, the card stock is good, smooth easy to shuffle, I recommend purchasing this product.Who will this deck appeal to most?In my personal opinion,this product would make a good gift for Tarot and divination practitioner, especially those with an interest in oracles, and astrology. If you are practitioner it could be used for professionally to enhance reading and obtain a more indepth answer for your sitter or for personal development, meditation, aligning your life to nature and the fluctuating rhythms of the moon. May also appeal to yoga enthusiast, Druid and Witches.

Fascinating. Found this in lieu of the 'Oracle of the Radiant Sun' which is what I was searching for (and is seemingly far rarer and dramatically more expensive). Have yet to get the full hang of this but it has a lot to offer immediately to those like myself who already have a pretty good grasp of astrology and moon cycles.

Beautiful and insightful, much more than a pretty deck. Takes some studying of the guide before you can decipher through images alone but well worth the added time to understand and learn

I am exploring readings with these cards, detailed and specific for the moon phases

I ordered a 'used like new' deck and it was probably used for a display copy. The deck was shuffled (easy enough to reset the deck energy by putting them into the correct order, and planning to cleanse, consecrate and charge them with a good sage smoking.So far I'm a little (just a tiny bit) put off by so much info in the book (thick and as large as the box which only has one corner looking a touch pressed in, pressed in but not dented or severely damaged). Figuring out these cards and the method used with them is going to take a lot more time to learn but I think it will be an enjoyable season of lessons to learn them.Because the deck was already shuffled I set about putting them all in order. I thought I'd been 'shorted' the #11 card (Fortuna). I love it when I get a clue and then went to the goddess cards and there she was among the divine feminine. No real surprise though... I often call upon Fortuna as the Goddess of Fortune. All is well, All cards are accounted for (phew), the box is in excellent condition, and the guidebook shows only the first very few pages had been opened so there was a very mild crease.Overall I am pleased. We'll see if I have any problems and I'll post about them here in the future if there are any issues.

Guidebook is quite large and holds very interesting descriptions with explanations from astrological viewpoints.Beautiful quality cards!
