Over 22,000 Chords.... but that is not necessarily GOOD!!
Yes, I was suckered into buying this chord book after returning to the guitar after a few years of neglect. As you can tell from the title, I am not particularly impressed with this book - let me explain why. The main portion of this book is dedicated to providing chord shapes which are duplicated at various fret positions, hence giving different chords. As an example, the E major shape fretted with a barre at the 3rd fret becomes the chord of G etc, etc. There are 'thousands' of obscure chords that I will never use, duplicated throughout the book. The only useful thing (for me) was the traditional 'open chord' pages at the back.If you are a beginner, I do not recommend this book at all. If you have a passion for unusual chords (and thick books that will not fit into guitar bags), then 'fill yer boots' (no, not really - it is sarcasm!!).My advice - buy a less encyclopedic chord book, such as 'Guitar Case Chord Book In Full Color' Wise Publications. It is only £3.93 as well!!
