Awful product - do not waste your time or money!
Biggest waste of money. I have had an infestation of flies over the last month - this looked like the perfect product. Bought and not a single fly few into this unit. Even closed up in a dark room, all the flies ended up on a window waiting overnight for my disappointing return in the morning. Do not waste your money on this product. I assumed a month's return time, I was mistaken, so I can't even return this awful product. All I can do is advice you all to stay away. If there was a minus rating, I'd give it one.

Excellent little device.
Only had it three or four days so can't comment on long term quality. However it's a very nicely put together and designed item, but more importantly it does work and very well. We live on the edge of a wood and this time of year we have problems with small flies and midges. During the day with the patio doors open the living room often fills up with several little critters. Not so much of a problem until you're settling down on a night to watch TV or chill and relax and there's loads of them buzzing about. What I've found is if I put the Mosquito killer on early evening as it gets darker in the room the critters gradually start heading towards that area of the room, obviously besotted by the UV light, and one by one they take it in turns to get trapped and it very quickly clears up the room. I haven't used it outside on the patio area yet and not sure how it would work out in the open, but this is exactly the type of thing I was looking for.*a month or two on and it's still working great. clears up the room in no time.

Good-looking product
This product looks good and is not too noisy. It appears to work to some extent, attracting and killing midges and small flies. I had, however, hoped it would deal with larger flies (I live near a farm!) but it doesn't appear to attract them.

Didnt work for me.
I had to return this as the tv attracted more insects than the zapper did.

Much larger than expected
Probably my mistake. I bought it to take to Africa for a safari holiday. I didn't take it as it is so large and I couldn't get it in my luggage.

Noisy and Ineffective
First impressions were good - the unit is made from quite nice plastic and has a quality feel about it.That is the end of the good news. The unit is noisy. It is supposed to have a 'Mute' mode which is 30-40db. I found the mute mode was loud enough to be annoying while watching TV in the same room, and you certainly couldn't sleep in the same room while it is running. In any event, as well as reducing fan speed in Mute mode, the brightness of the light is significantly reduced and no bugs at all were attracted to it.I wrote to the Seller about the noise problem and received this as a response:"Dear friend, this product's sound is about 30-40 db, Just like Thousand people have a thousand Hamlets, someboday think it's quiet, and somebody think it's very noise. In my opinion, it's not noise as my fan, so I do not think it's noise and disturb me."I sent them a photo of a dB Meter clearly showing over 50dB. Note that the decibel scale is logarithmic - 50dB is 10x as loud as 40db. My Hamlet was very loud! That was in Mute mode. In 'Strong' mode the unit was clearly audible from almost anywhere in my house. The seller suggested that I only used the unit when nobody was in the room. For 48 hours! We live in the country, and the warm weather has brought out a plethora of mozzies, midges, flies and other flying annoyances. During the week I kept the unit, it managed to catch one, single bug. I even left it running next to an open window overnight. In the morning, although the room had attracted its fair share of bugs, the Key Nice Mosquito Zapper had not.In the end I returned the unit and bought some citronella candles, which have been quite effective at repelling the biting blighters.

Superb
Does the job, no artificial chemical use very good when using in abroad, never knew this would be one of the best way to get rid of Mosquito :)

Does what it says!
I did wonder if it’d work in the daylight given driven by a light attracting insects. But I’ve certainly noticed much less flies in my conservatory (when the door is open) and flies appearing in the chamber at the bottom ie the grave.
