Griots are are naturally tart cherries from southern Italy, they are also called Visciole in Italian. Wild cherry trees are scattered throughout the area surrounding the Il Molino farm and have become the source for this unique and precious product. Rich in texture and taste is perfect on warm bread and pancakes , or paired with fresh cheese. This old and rare variety of wild cherry (in Italian called "visciole") is also recommended for the preparation of cakes and pies.

Great quality, but small jar.
It’s a small jar, but the flavor was perfect for my chicken in spicy plum sauce recipe. I hope the 8 oz jar is back in stock soon.
