Accurate
Had these for nearly a month now. Very helpful bit of kit especially with my tinted rear window at night time. I like that the display shows a distance measurement alongside the directional bars. 0 meters means there's a small gap remaining between my car's towbar and the object behind.I've had the chance to use them at different times of the day in different weather and straight after having the car spray cleaned. The sensors have worked fine in all conditions with sensitivity set to maximum. It begins detecting different objects at different distances. For example..A flat wall: 2+ metresMy neighbor's Juke: 2mMy neighbor's Astra: 1.5mLampposts: 1.5-0.8mBeeping starts at 1.5m. Anything detected further away than 1.5m is only shown on the display without audio. There's a small button on the device that allows audio to be turned off.I've had my sensors (originally black) colour-matched to my car. Will likely spray the sensors with WD40 very soon to help protect the sensor sockets from water. It's been an accurate piece of kit this far without fail up to now.Update 27 March 2020One of the sensors started beeping randomly when the car is in reverse although there's no object behind the car. This was resolved two months ago by doing just I planned in the original review: use WD40. I took out the sensors, wiped them down, including where the cable enters, and sprayed them with WD40. I repeated this about a week later. They've been trouble-free since. These have been brilliant for tight parallel parking.
