PMI-ACP Exam Prep: Questions, Answers, & Explanations

PMTraining Mock-Exams have already been a MAJOR Integration material for passing my PMP certification.PMI-ACP Exam Prep structure and professionalism is exactly in the same vein. Highly recommended.

I used this to drill on practice exam questions for the PMI-ACP exam that I passed 2 days ago. On the plus side, the information is well organized and I liked the fact that it is presented in form of mini mock exams that can be completed in small increments of time.The problem I have with this book is that the questions, in my experience, were much more difficult than the actual exam. There was a focus on lesser known agile techniques and formulas that I didn't receive a single question on in the actual exam I took. I did somewhat poorly on these mock exams and considered rescheduling the exam, thinking I needed additional preparation. I am glad I didn't, as I performed well on the actual exam.Amazon does not allow for half stars, but due to the frustration I experienced unnecessarily, I would give this book 2.5 stars.

These questions were harder than the actual test questions. I got to the point where I was barely passing the tests using this book. I was therefore hesitant to take the test. When I took the test, I got top ranges in the test. I used a free test from Simplilearn. The question database from Agile Prep cast is the most like the actual test than anything else I reviewed.

I just passed the test yesterday - with an "Above Average Target". I bought this knowing that others said it was not helpful, (the questions don't match the quality on the exam) I agree, it wasn't a good investment - and I stopped using it. In fact, it too -shook my confidence to the point that I moved my test date thinking I was not ready for the exam. I should not have bought this at all!!!! In order to pass the exam, you really have to embrace the Agile mindset. You need to know the processes (for each methodology) and understand "Who" is asking for what and what stage of the process are they in. You should know what tools and techniques are available in the processes. I felt that this test was much harder than the PMP - fewer questions but it took me just as long to finish. I had to re-read the question, focusing on who is asking.

Good book but returned it because it's just the book version of the online PMI prep guide.

This book offered some of the best variety of questions to prepare for the PMI-ACP exam. Overall, the questions were well written with few grammatical errors, which I mention simply because structuring exam questions is difficult and compared to other exam prep courses, this book had the best grammar.Each answer is backed up with a reference to recognized bodies of work so there is no personal opinion. I used this book to prepare for the exam and am thankful that I did.
