An excellent coffee maker
We've had this K-Duo for over a week now and we're very happy with it. It makes great drip coffee from grounds and single cups from K-cup pods. Like any electronic device, it takes a little while to get used to the quirks, but we had it down in a day. Many reviewers have complained about the Auto Brew function -- yes, it would have been nice to activate it daily with just a single button push, but in order to activate the Auto Brew on this unit you have to push a couple of buttons a few times. But you do NOT have to reprogram the start time (which is what we were led to believe from some of the more vehement reviews), and honestly, it's not difficult to simply push a button a few more times! When preparing a single cup, we like the ability to make a stronger and/or a hotter brew. We've tried out the iced coffee function and that seems to work fine, we're just not iced coffee fans, but we might change our tune as summer kicks in.All in all, we're very pleased with this purchase.

Something Good is Brewing
Very pleased with this Keurig K-Duo coffee maker after using it every morning for the past couple of months. It is shorter than our last coffee-maker. This allows the lid to open fully without having to pull the entire unit out from underneath the top wall cabinets. The K-pod brewing side also outperforms our old non-Keurig pot & pod maker (which worked some of the time with some of the K-pods, and made a mess when it didn’t.). The carafe is far superior on this model as well. Hardly any spillage at all. I would definitely recommend this maker, and would purchase it again.

Works Great so far!!!!
Works Great... Have had it for three months now and it works like advertised. Brew at least a pot a day, along with a K-Cup or two to boot. Wish that there was a 16 or 20 oz brew size for the k-cups. However any combination will get you what you need. I use filtered water in the resiviour. Have run one cleaning cycle through the coffee maker so far. Nice that you can clean both the Coffee Pot Maker and K-cup Maker in one cleaning. Just run fresh water (2 cycles) after cleaning. Got it at a good price as compared to big box and appliance stores. Watch for sales!!!

Good brewer but not great. Chemical/plastic taste is a bit of a letdown...
This coffee maker IMO is a 3.5 star unit, but I'll round up on my review. I wanted a drip brewer and still have the option for Keurig pods on occasion for other things like black tea. This unit looked like it would deliver on what I was looking for, though I have had a mixed ride with Keurig products, especially their newer offerings.First I'll list out the pros:1. It does double duty and for me, that saves space on the counter.2. It brews decent coffee.3. The interface is straight forward.4. It lasted more than a week which beats a couple prior Keurig's I've bought which is a plus.Cons:1. I don't know if it's my pallette but I can taste a distinct chemical/plastic taste when brewing coffee and pods. I ran multiple tanks of water through the unit before using it on both drip and pods. I installed a carbon filter in the tank as well since it doesn't come with one. I resorted to running cleaner through the unit and white vinegar which solved the issue on the drip side, but I can still get a hint of the taste on the pod side. I noticed in the later generation Keurig's, this has been an issue for me. I have an older Keurig that has a water heating chamber, and I never had the issue with that unit. YMMV.2. The scheduling for the next day could be better. I would say that using it non-auto brew is straight forward. Going through the scheduling every time you want auto-brew is a bit sub-optimal. Not a deal breaker by any means, but it could be better.3. It doesn't exactly come across as high quality but it does the job.4. I wish the water tank was a bit bigger so I could do 3-4 6 cup brews without refilling.5. It didn't come with a carbon filter.Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and hope it lasts more than a year. With time, I also hope the chemical/plastic taste subsides on the pod side of the brewer. For the price, I would buy it again if there isn't another option doing the same thing for within $50 of this unit. I will post an update if it stops functioning down the road. I have been using it daily for six weeks without any issues.

Best coffee pot!
We love this coffee pot! We are coffee drinkers! We drink a pot in the mornings and a couple kcups in the afternoon so this maker is perfect. The kcups run through so fast, no waiting! We set the pot on auto brew and perfect every morning. I like how the reservoir holds water for both the pot and kcups, no separate reservoir. The coffee is always perfect. The 'extra hot' feature for kcups is great, we love that. This maker is a no brainer! You want a good cup of coffee, buy this model. So worth it.

Worth the extra money!
I absolutely love this Keurig duo coffee maker. My most recent purchase of another brand that was about half this price point didn’t even last me for two years. I had experience with a Keurig single maker in the past and felt this extra cost was probably worth it.The coffee maker came packaged really well for product safety. It came with easy to follow instructions for startup and programming. I use the full pot every 2 to 3 days to make my own iced coffee at home and we use the singles for hot coffee. I am amazed at how quickly the singles Are brewed and they are very hot. I haven’t even tried the extra hot function yet because it’s all already very hot.Even though I brew a full pot for iced coffee, I have tried the cold brew function. I am impressed that it starts hot to give you full coffee flavor and then lowers the temperature so that your ice doesn’t melt. This is perfect for me as there have been many times that I forgot to brew my coffee For refrigeration and discover it in the morning when I drink my one iced coffee serving per day.I absolutely love this and recommend it. It is at a bit higher price point than lower to mid range. Brewer’s but it’s worth the money. I definitely recommend this.
