Dynas Pre Made Coils A1 Wire Basic Builds Various Ohms - Clapton 0.8Ω

These coils are OK, but they are described as appox coil internal diameter of 2.5mm to 3mm. The ones I have recieved are not. They are between 2mm and 2.5mm. I have been able to straighten the wire and re-wrap the coils to an i/d of 3mm, the leg length was long enough to do so and with the same 5 wraps a maximum leg length of 9mm/10mm is still possible. After cutting mine down to 6mm they have a resistance of 0.68 ohm.

These are good coils and give good flavour, however I have two minor issues:- They are too narrow. I have to partially unwrap them and rewrap them in order to widen them to my desired diameter.- The resistance is off. I ordered 0.8 ohms so expected 0.4 when doubled up and I got 0.31 ohms.Having said that I would probably buy them again.

Some of the coils are fine others are well below standards you would expect,had to re-wrap again

I put my coils on my RBA assembly stand and the reader says 0.5 Ω.Take care before cutting/burning your coils. Now I'm stuck with a bunch of useless coils.
