Updated Music?
They just had to try improving the music. Somehow they managed to take out the old music and dub in modern, 'better sounding' background music. The original sound track, with the old music was a big part of what made the films funny.

Best Episode On Second-To-Last Disc
One of my all-time favorite episodes is when Spanky, Porky and Buckwheat decide to duck church to go fishing. I think that one's called "Little Sinners". Alfalfa among others warns them about it. But that episode is on the second-to-last last disc. Anyway, the boys are chased away from their first choice spot, only to wander into the woods to find a black congregation holding baptisms at a lake there. Essential to the story was one thing that I didn't know as a kid, raised as I was in a mainstream whitebread congregation where you're baptized as a baby, VERY gently. A little "ker-splash" and it's over. And even then, the baby sometimes cries. But in this episode, it looked to me like the black congregation was half-drowning ADULTS, who would come up howling in apparent fright. All to the tune of the congregation humming the minor-key "Wade In the Water" as what seems to the boys like a spooky dirge. Even though Buckwheat is along, he's just as scared as Spanky and Porky, who go running back to their own church. They sneak in the back door and join the departing congregation in time to be asked at the door by the pastor (who doesn't know where they've just been) if they learned their lesson. Spanky's reply; "And how".

Definitely a bootleg
Definitely a bootleg. This set has about the worst packaging and graphic design ever. But, the content is really good and you get more uncut episodes in this box than most. Still, sucks to support bootlegs. I wasn’t sure if it was an import or not.

Nice Collectors Item
I was very pleased with the set. Picture quality was not bad considering they were made in the 1930’s. Sound quality not bad either. Nice addition to my DVD collection. Price was reasonable. Delivery was fast. Highly recommend.

Yum Yum Eat 'Em Up!
I literally cried when I found this! My brother & I use to watch them (on vhs) when we were kids. It brought back great memories. My husband had never watched them so we sit & watch them now. And when our little one is old enough, we'll sit & watch as a family!

A Great Set of the Rascals Adventures!
As a kid I loved The Little Rascals, but had forgotten how much fun they are! Last night I watched the first two discs of this 12 disk set and am happy to report, the sound and picture quality are great -- and I re-discovered many of my old favorites, right away! As one customer said, "Who doesn't like the Little Rascals?" Hal Roach was either a magician or a genius -- probably both! As far as I'm concerned, I made a great purchase!

Lost Episode Found!
As soon I got it I I watched “Forgotten Babies”. It’s a very hard to find episode and I understand why. The clip was grainy because of it’s very old, it does give a notice about the quality of the clip but it was my first and favorite episode of the Little Rascals. It brought back a lot of memories. My search is over. Thank you very much!😀
