DID NOT WORK ON MY HP COULD NOT PRINT NON COMPATIBLE
We finally needed to put in the first of the cartridges as our yellow ran out. It shut the the HP Wide Page Pro MFP 477dw down. It would not print... it said it was not compatible. This was 6 days ago. I had to order the HP 972 brand and it worked beautiful. HOWEVER.... I bought this refill in September when I bought the printer... so it would be ready when we needed it. My return window ended in October just a couple weeks after my order. MY BAD I guess. A total waste of $155.oo That is a bunch of money for a non profit . Lesson learned. Be sure to try out your compatibility BEFORE the return window is up.

Compatibility + quality
Printing looks as good with these as it did with the HP starter cartridges. I was afraid to upgrade the printer firmware because it might start refusing to use the non-HP cartridges, but I eventually did the upgrade (and more recent ones) and these cartridges continue to work. The price difference is significant IMHO with no quality compromises.
