My wifes computer was on life support with the original battery that the laptop came with. When I would unplug her laptop, we had literally only minutes before it was shutting down because the battery had too low of a charge. I looked up the serial number on the laptop and battery, did a little research, and chose this replacement battery sold by SOLICE. When the replacement battery arrived, it was neatly packaged and ready to go. I put it into the laptop, powered it up, and it was perfect. I was even pleasantly surprised that the battery had almost a full charge. I have had the battery for nearly a month now and it is performing just as well as when it was new. I now get multiple hours out of a single charge. It has saved us from buying a brand new laptop. I highly recommend getting this replacement battery if your current one is giving you headaches.

If I purchase an item and don't need to make customer service contact, then I consider that a plus. This battery is a great fit for my laptop at one fifth the price on other sites. I got the delivery as promised on the same day as the order was placed. I gave it a complete charge and unplugged it at midnight last night. It's now 11:30 am the following day and the battery still has 40% charge. That says something to me as it should to you. The item came well packaged with no visible damage or imperfections. It fits and functions as advertised and according to my expectations. The delivery service was prompt and reliable. I'm sure with any type battery things can and do go wrong. My experience with this particular item is great. I would recommend the item and the seller to those looking for a replacement battery that is reliable.

I received the product in a very timely manner, I give the seller 5 stars for that. The Battery does it's job, and I didn't expect it to be as good as the OEM battery that came with my computer. I have waited to post my review until I have had a chance to review the product. I have had it for about two months. The battery fit is good, and there were no problems with charging it. It provides between 1.5 to 2 hours of use on a full charge.I charged the battery fully 5 days ago, and today when I started the computer it was at 82%, and that has been consistent with my observations since I have been using it. So, I will say that it doesn't maintain the charge over long periods of time. I would still recommend the product considering price and value.

I was torn as to which replacement battery to buy for my aging HP Pavilion G6 laptop. My original battery no longer held a charge, so I was running it only using the power supply. I certainly didn't want to pay the HP price! I saw the good (but limited number) of reviews on the Solice, but decided to give it a try.First; it fits perfectly.Second; It charges & discharges properly, & it seems to have about the same capacity as my original HP battery when new. I've only had it a month, so time will tell if it holds up over the long term. With a little luck, I won't have to take advantage of the 1-year warranty!Overall I'm quite happy with my choice!!

Battery arrived yesterday. It was charged and ready to go tonight. Went to a site to play bingo and within 5 minutes it had drained 100% of the battery Returning battery tomorrow.

Our six year-old HP Pavilions are showing their age... The OEM batteries fritzed out within a week of each other!! Upon receipt of this, I was able to pop out the old and pop in the new batts! Unlike other reviewers, I had to charge the batteries before use which only took about an hour. Nevertheless, they hold a charge very well and don't seem to drain as quickly as the old batts. While this is not the least expensive laptop battery replacement in Amazon's arsenal, it is by far the best VALUE!!

I replaced my original 9-cell laptop battery with this 6-cell one and am fully satisfied with the performance. I tested the battery life by playing a video with the screen brightness at max and got almost 3 hours before the laptop shut down. Time to recharge to 100% is pretty quick. I have not encountered any overheating. Overall, I am happy with this battery and recommend it.My laptop computer is an HP dv7-4280us.
