I got these to try and do some detailing on a wood working assignment I had and it took a bit for me to get the angle right so I wasn’t gauging chunks outta my project, but once I got it down it was very relaxing and satisfying to do. The tools are strong and I had no problem keeping a nice grip and maintaining control of my movements. I was worried that they’d dull quickly, but they’re still very strong and sharp.

I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the tools were to work with. And very sharp, watch your fingers. I do many crafts and decided to try wood carving. I had some drift wood and basically just doodled...I did well I think. Great value and a quality for a novice in this craft. I totally love it!

I purchased these for carving out letterbox stamps, and some of them, especially the U-shaped ones, are a bit dull on the sides. Overall, they're a bit too big for my purposes, but the selection is nice, the quality is decent. I had my 9 year old don a cut-proof glove and try her hand at carving speedball (rubber, not wood). For an adult, I think is obvious that you don't carve in a gouging manner, but it's not quite obvious for a child. My 9 year old is in the 97% for height and her hands are quite long, even still, these were slightly too long to fit completely comfortably in her hand, but were fine in mine. I can't say how they'd work on wood, but for larger bits of letterboxing, they would be decently suitable.

These tools are pretty nice. Not perfect by any means, but the quality is there. Not super robust, they are likely more suited to working with softer woods, waxes and clay. Regardless though, many different place shapes are included and they all do a very good job.

Novice carved here this is a good starter set. Smaller handles made it easy to use. They are very sharp so not for little ones but okay for teens. I'm happy with my purchase

Great set of carving tools! Had a fun time learning the basics of wood carving with this set. The handles are a great size for kids or medium adult hands and the knives are (appropriately) very sharp. Each serves a specific purpose so we had fun figuring out how each was best used. The case. Is pretty thin but it hasn't given out yet.

These tools are great! I am a beginner in the hobby, but these tools definitely made it easier to carve. They have good quality handles, and they feel good in the hand. I would recommend checking these out if you are interested in getting into carving.

These are teeny tiny little things about the size of a pen. Mine are broken after one project. Terrible quality not built to last or for any type of wood
