I'm afraid they are on par with many other underrated leads, it seems a great purchase at first and alls well with your goods charging beautifly which is very much short lived. I have found the leads to be very study and great length but I'm afraid in less than 3 months the leads provide power but if trying to use iPad while charging it effects the keyboard performance as the keyboard will randomly add letters while typing and struggle to input data it also effects the swipe on an off.however if you remove the charger the iPad goes back to normal and works with ease with no glitching while charging .I have also tried another long lead and not experancing the problem so for 3 months short lived charging I'm afraid my experience isn't on par with other reviews.Yes they are long and StrudyYes they are value for Money on initial purchaseYes they will arrive via PrimeWould I chance it again I'm afraid not as I've also noted the original charger gets very hot with these leads and will now replace again. I do understand these are a consumable but afraid the lives pan needs to last much longer as the leads look exactly the same as when they arrived with damageHope this helps others

I need a new cable for my iPad and found these and though great, I was even more happy when they arrived, good sturdy cables of a decent length. Charging was fine and I was happy.Then the problems started. I had to connect my iPad to my MacBookAir to update my music and I noticed I was having to wait a long time for iTunes to reckonise my iPad, then I looked at my iPad and saw the battery icon was flashing green on and off, then my MacBook Air gave me a warning notice saying; 'could not read from the device' !I tried the other cable and that was exactly the same :(Luckily I was able to return to Amazon for a full refund.

I bought these as, with the nylon braiding, they looked well made. Some leads just look skinny and cheap, whereas these looked much better made. Big mistake I'm afraid. I have used leads, patch cables etc. extensively over the years and am therefore aware that the weak spots on any such leads are the cable 'flex points' where cable and plug join. I am therefore very careful not to stress these points. My iPad is used exclusively in the house, so these cables have also not been rolled-up, bundled into a bag or pocket. In short, these leads have had just about an easy and cosseted use as cables can have, but still lasted no more than two or three weeks each. With no warning they both, in turn, just stopped charging. It is certainly the cables because my old, shorter cables, which I have had to return to, still behave perfectly (I bought these new cables as I wanted longer ones). It seems very difficult to find reliable cables and in my experience, even buying recognised, 'expensive' branded cables is no guarantee of longevity. Perhaps I just have to buy 99p cables from China by the boxful and accept a high failure rate. I just find it incredible that with the expensive manufacturing machinery and processes which must be involved in the production of these leads, it still doesn't seem possible to produce anything which lasts longer than the proverbial 'five minutes'.

Being someone who ruins ipad cables on a regular basis by over extending the cable close to the connector I was looking for yet more replacements. I decided to try braided cables and boy am I glad that I did.These seem to be manufactured to a high quality. I haven't noticed any difference between the functionality of these and genuine ipad cables.At this price I can have cables located wherever I use the ipad and therefore I am not stressing the USB end by unplugging/plugging it.Highly recommended so far.

I bought these to replace ones made by another maker. The first one stopped working because the wires broke; the second one stopped working after a couple of months; the third one just never worked. I finally saw the light and bought from InfoTechnica! These are braided, which I think makes them stronger, and they're a handy length - the normal 1-metre ones just aren't long enough. I have high hopes this time that I've chosen a winner.

My Mum has an old 80gb iPod touch classic, that still works well and the battery life on the new ones are abysmally short compared to the older models. The power lead stopped working due to wear and tear, so we wanted to get a new one. We got these and they work well, though connecting the device is a little stiff and needs to be firmly clicked in and left for a few seconds till the device says it's connected. I think that's because our iPod is an older model and this is not an official cable. Everything else above and beyond our expectations for such a low price. Highly recommended.

Really pleased with this purchase, I have an old i-pod and the original apple cable was in a very bad shape and unsafe to use. As a last ditch attempt to be able to continue to use this i-pod which has photos I have not stored anywhere else I bought the information technically cable. I am very impressed with the speed of service and the items. They look and feel far better than the original and I think by the look of them will last longer than the i-pod!! I would recommend this product and the company.

I don't think i've found anything that charges at the same speed as an official apple brand charging cable. This product definitely doesn't either. I plugged the USB into my PC and tried to charge the iPad. I was using an oil painting app, and it ate through the power without charging at all. When plugged into the wall using an official apple charging plug and the IT cable, it took seemingly forever to simply charge 1%. Please DO NOT waste your money buying this cable.
