won't pick up calls, awkward clip position
This unit is certainly the right color. But it will not pick up calls when I try to answer the phone. My tablet, which I use as a phone, shows I am connected via bluetooth to the headset, but it will not pick up a call no matter what I do to the master button on the headset. I can do a lot of pushing and eventually get connected to make an outbound call. But, frankly, I have resorted to using the speakerphone for every call, out or inbound.Could it be user error? I suppose so, but I have re-read the instructions provided multiple times and attempted to answer many inbound calls unsuccessfully. I am using an older Samsung tablet, so I suppose it could be an issue with my hardware or the dated version of Andriod I am stuck with. So, I won't vote on how I feel, which is one star, but be rational. When it does connect properly with the phone it works fine and I do like the retracting line for the ear piece. The clip for attaching it to my shirt strikes me as 90 degrees off. It should run the other direction, or, better yet, swivel so the microphone orientation can be fine tuned. As it is, I find it a little tough to clip on and orient well for good mike pickup.

THE "ONLY" BLUETOOTH TO OWN
Why every person on the planet that uses a phone doesn't have THIS bluetooth headset is simply beyond my comprehension. After probably several thousand $$$ on bluetooth gadgets for my phone I found Azeca retractables. All the tech features meet my pretty demanding expectations (sound clarity, pairing protocol, responsiveness, mode options, battery life, etc.) but the concept alone is the winner here. Yes. There are all those necklace stereo headsets out there, if you want to walk around looking like a nerd and not care about music sound quality. But yea, they also provide voice for phone calls. But if you want just mono bluetooth for phone, THIS is the product to get. I have mine on a nice eyewear lanyard (LALoop.com) around my neck for past 4 years. Always there. Ready to take calls WITHOUT being in my ear all day (but with a quick pull - I'm handsfree). And the pairing protocol won't route your texts and alerts to the earpiece like many newer bluetooth sets (you'll hear text chimes and alerts on your phone like normal). I keep several for backup. Yes, they're cheap. They can fail. I just replace them. Probably get good year of heavy use. BELIEVE ME - customized with something like an LALoop, and you too will be SOLD.

Great alternative to the typical Bluetooth earpiece
First things first... I have to say how hysterical I find some of the reviews. This is a Bluetooth earpiece. It's not a 2.4GHz cordless phone. You can't go wandering 30 feet from your phone and expect a good connection. This is made for hands free calling while you're driving, or even walking around with the phone in your pocket. I wouldn't expect anyone to use this earpiece more than four feet from their phone. This earpiece is far more comfortable than the typical "wrap around the ear" Bluetooth earpiece that always wants to fall off or irritates the ear. Simply put the earplug in one ear, clip the mic to your s*** pocket and you're good to go. Feels just as comfortable as any set of earbuds you may already own/use. The wire retracts into the body for tidy storage and allows for varying length of wire so you don't have too much of the wire exposed, causing a potential snag. Sound quality is very good. Mic pick up is very good. Battery life is phenomenal.

OK for phone calls only.
For use as a phone ear piece only and the convenience of having a clip away device I gave it a 3. It's a bit heavy to clip under the collar but in a top pocket works for me. Will not connect to my amazon music on the same phone, but it's still worth it for the convenience. The wire feels flimsy so be careful pulling it out ad retracting it. Keeping fingers crossed. I wish it had a tougher feel to the wire and tighter wind.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
I am constantly loosing my Bluetooth earpieces because I hate to have something hanging from my neck so I use the ones that you put in your ear and take out and can't seem to keep up with anything smaller than a breadbox. When I saw this one, I was ecstatic. It was discreet enough to hide at work, didn't appear bulky and was able to retract earpiece when not in use....was in seven heaven. However, I guess the reason for the low rating could be my fault but when you have multiple electronics that you need to charge, you tend to use the same one for all of them and that was the demise of my perfect Bluetooth speaker. I connected it to my Jam speaker charger and it made a popping sound and never came on again :( Had to replace it with one of those around the neck ones....yuck which I hardly use, Anyway, wished they were made to handle other chargers. I would have definitely bought another one.

Great concept for Bluetooth headset
I love this device. I have used bluetooth head sets since they were available, and have used all types. The sound on this is reasonable. The sound and clarity for those whom I speak to is good as well. But the trick that is so special is that the headset clips to your shirt, and you retract or extend the wire with the ear bud as you need it. No more hanging a device on your ear all day. I love that. The one button is a bit tricky to learn or access for turning on or off, but the rest has been so good for the past several weeks, that this minor issue is a non issue.Again, as a guy who has had an earpiece hanging on my head for decades, this new concept is great!

Works Kinda
For a couple weeks, it seemed to work great and I was really excited about it! However I began to notice most of the people I'd speak to using this blue tooth mentioned that I sounded bad, or would ask me to repeat myself.I had my wife use it to call me and found that the quality of her voice coming to my phone was directly related to the distance between this bluetooth in her ear and her phone. Realistically she could not walk more than 10 ft from her phone or I would no longer make out what she was saying. And at best, with her phone right next to her, the sound of her voice was still pretty crackly. I could make our what she was say, but not comfortably enough to carry on a lengthy conversation.
