Since the sound is transmitted through the skull into inner ear rather than through the air, it as a matter of fact does feel a bit weird when you first try it. The way you perceive your own voice comparing to what others hear is a perfect example. The first time I heard my own voice coming out of a recorder really took me by surprise that I actually had such unpleasant voice. But we have to admit it that bone conduction does have some advantages over traditional earbuds. With bone conduction headphones your perceptions for outer world will not be blocked because bone conduction allows you to hear with your ears open to the surroundings. Moreover, bone conduction is also another opportunity for some of the hearing-impaired people. For these people they used to need to be surgically implanted a device to convert the through-the-air sound transmission to vibration. Now this process could be replaced by these commercial bone conduction devices on the market, without any risks that a surgery would possibly bring.Because the headphones utilize the bone conduction mechanisms of hearing, they are a great way for someone with a conductive hearing loss or single-sided deafness to enjoy audio streaming. They are also a good solution for those with any type of in-the-ear hearing aids.Specification:-Bluetooth Version:Version 4.0,Class 2-Operation Frequency:2.402 to 2.480GHZ-Play Time: About 5-8 hours-Charging Time: About 2 hours-Standby Time: About 500 hours-Effective Distance:5-10 meters-Weight:55g-Battery:Li-ion Battery(250MAh 3.7V)Package Includes:-1* Bone Conduction Headphone Sunglasses-1* Glasses Cloth-1* Charging Cable-2* Replaceable Lenses-1* User Manual

Good concept, Fails in practical application.
I bought these to use while riding my road bike; hoping to listen to music while still being able to hear traffic. To my disappointment, the sound output is not loud enough to overcome the wind noise from riding at even moderate speeds. In addition, there is no volume control on the glasses so you can't control the volume without accessing your music source. In the end, it's a good concept that fails in practical application. I would return them if I could.

Fantastic for running and keeping situational awareness
I bought these mainly because when I run with my dog around the neighborhood I enjoy listening to music but also need to be situationally aware of my environment; for approaching cars, dogs running after me, etc. I was running with my iphone on speaker mode but didn't like being a loud jukebox going up and down the street. I found these glasses and they are perfect for my needs.Pros:** You get a LOT of accessories. 3 different lenses (smoke, orange and clear), carrying bags for everything, cleaning cloth, charging cable, earplugs (not even sure why lol)** The buttons are easy to press on the left ear when you're running. The first button activates Siri so I can talk to control the music (track forward/back/volume, etc.) instead of fumbling for more tiny buttons.** I don't know how long the battery will last, but I've used them for over 3 hours of running so far and it's still going strong.** The volume is strong enough to enjoy but not loud enough to overwhelm the environment noiseCons:** Not much to speak of... I don't know if these are really "bone conducting" as much as they are tiny speakers next to your ears. Not completely silent outside of the user but barely noticeable to others. No other cons to note at this time.I recommend these for runners and outside exercisers to stay safe and aware of your environment while still enjoying tunes!
