The originals I got a year ago had a slightly wider mesh
The originals I got a year ago had a slightly wider mesh and you could see thru to the heating flames. These actually don't give any idea of temperature, I cooked sausages to start with and then just started to cook and left burns on the mesh from the BBQ sauce that I was basting with therefore this burnt sauce sticks to the sausages. I tried with steaks with the same effect so removed them and went back to using the grill where i can see wat is happening and any fat drips down away from the meat helping to cause the delicious BBQ flavour on the mesh they would just burn as the fat had no where to go. pretty much useless will have to find the original that really did work. I wont recommend to anyone.

Good things
These were a fun present for some friends (I get to go to the BBQ now)! These are good quality and seem to do the job requested of them - sit on top of our gas BBQ as the grill bits are a bit rusty now. Food still cooks well and no apparent damage to the sheets. Will just say I expected the tongs and things separate so was about to get grumpy until I found them all wrapped up in the middle of the sheets in the box.

great as a Grill Pan Liner
I bought this to line the grill pan not the BBQ & it works great. No more tin foil under the grill which still gets stuck. This non stick sheet works really well & lasts. Food does'nt stick to it or the pan. Really pleased.

Keeps bbq clean
A little tricky to clean the sheets after extended use but keeps fat away from grill bars (which are much much harder to clean) the brush works well, overall very happy

I use them on my gas BBQ no more cleaning these are fantastic ! Nothing sticks on it my BBQ says clean and these are washable! Amazing product

Just be careful of the excess fat collected on the mat
Started out well until i scraped the fat which collected on the mat onto the flames , probably my mistake but big flames and burnt food was the result - should have a warning on the pack
