Our dog snapped the thin cable that was attached to the OEM sensor bar so we decided to get rid of that problem by getting the wireless bar. Haven't had any problems at all in a "regular" sized living room.

Wired Up, Or Not Wired?
There is no question about the influence the Nintendo Wii has brought out on video games top to bottom. But when it has came down to third-party accessories, they just haven't been all that they are truthfully cracked up to be. Not just in price, but in longevity. That is sadly the case with this Wireless Sensor Bar. Although it tries to replace the sensor bar that comes with the Nintendo Wii in price, unfortunately it can easily run out of juice in no time, especially if you're a hard core gamer. I honestly wasn't very impressed with it after only a few uses, it needed to be charged up after a short time. Overall I would definitely recommend it that if the sensor bar stops working that comes with the Nintendo Wii, you are just better off getting a replacement from Nintendo itself. The wireless bar might be seeing red in color, but definitely not in price.Price: C-Convience: CBattery Life: C 1/2-Overall: C 1/2-

Battery Eater - dead after 1 day
At first I thought that this was an issue of the one I got but after buying a second one from Target, I found it's a problem with probably each one. The item was used with 4 AA batteries, and we played about 3 hours of games. By the end of the day the batteries were dead. Also, after the bar would turn itself off while we were playing, in order to turn it back on we had to remove the batteries, put them back in, then turn it on, otherwise it would never turn back on. This is completely unforgivable to have a product that doesn't work in these ways. A complete waste of money. I returned the one from Target. I will keep this one as back up if need be. But definitely not using it for most of my Wii censor bar needs. The seller had nothing to do with the poor quality of the product.

Works great. Till the batteries die. and they do often.
they are great and work well for a couple hours. then you will need to replace the batteries. you will find yourself either investing in a collection of rechargeable batteries or being a jerkface and throwing away countless AA batteries keeping this beast fed. The battery life actually makes no sense since all these sensor bars are actually doing is powering 4 little LED's. I would suggest finding an independently powered bar or get the extension for the standard one that came with your wii.

For anybody interested in the origins of the New Mutants
For anybody else that's been reading 'X-Infernus' by C B Cebulski and is looking forward to Zeb Wells' upcoming 'New Mutants' relaunch this book serves as an excellent primer for the character of Magik and alongside the reprints of the original 'New Mutants' series should be considered essential reading for any fans of Claremont's classic 80s X-Men tales. Though dated the artwork stands the test of time just as well as any other reprints from this era, and it's great to see the source material used to such excellent effect by Skottie Young in 'New X-Men: Childhood's End'.I would recommend this book to anybody harbouring nostalgic feelings about Chris Claremont's X-Men and New Mutants, but for anybody sitting on the fence about the X-Men don't be fooled into thinking that the Premiere HC treatment means that this is a mini-series that stands out from the crowd. As part of the X-Men tapestry this set the scene for so many storylines to come, but judged on it's own merits there are plenty of TPBs of groundbreaking material that your money might be better spent on.
