Used two for my gate motors
Before antenna: My gates motors controller had pretty abysmal range to be able to open gates from more than 50-70 feet. It required us to raise hand and press button a couple time to trigger open/close. From inside cars it was probably even harder. After adding antenna: the range has probably tripled or better. Now it just needs one button press and possible from larger distances without having to raise fob to get it working. It’s magnetic base hugs my iron fence well. Took 5 minutes to connect. It goes the job. Haven’t tried in vehicles.

Junk
Is not tuned properly at all!!!! I would be better off using a metal coat hanger.

it's probably tuned to some frequency.
Hilariously, when receiving a 433.92 MHz signal with this antenna, the SNR improves by 6 dB when I *remove* the antenna leaving just the coax lead and magnetic base. I haven't tried transmitting with it, for obvious reasons..

Does not tune well
High swr for 433mhz.

Works well, good replacement
Works well with the ghost gate. Has slightly greater range than the one provided with the gate that a cow chewed through the wire.

works great for 433mhz lpd
Its used for data it works well

No.....just no
You certainly get what you pay for with this critter. The antenna appears to be useful, but it must really be something else in disguise.First off, this appears to be a magmount antenna which one could use in a vehicle while mobile. Unfortunately the magnetic base is so weak that the antenna will barely stand on a stationary vehicle. Even the slightest bump will knock it over. The SWR is also abysmal. Though the listing indicates a resonance around 433mhz, my equipment shows it closer to 455mhz. And the lowest SWR at this point is still over 3:1.Just avoid this antenna for anything other than receive....but even then I'd pick something else.
