Halifax Traders Women's Front-Zip Down Jacket

I was very impressed when I received this jacket. The jacket is made well with heavy duty plastic zippers and durable fabric, and I don't see one feather sticking out. It pretty much looks identical to the picture. Also, the jacket is a little puffier than the packable down jackets. I ordered a small in black. I am 5 3' and approx. 135lbs with a 34B chest and the jacket felt a tad confining from the armpit to chest area when zippered. The waist and hips were perfect. I am going to order a medium just to compare, but I am definitely keeping the small if the medium is too big. The approx. measurements of the small are: Chest 19"; Waist 17.5"; Hips 20.5"; and, Length 23.5". Oh, and a famous retailer that begins with an "N" is selling the same jacket. I hope the measurements will help you. I wish retailers had the time to add the exact measurements of their garments: it would save everyone time and money in the long run.Update: The approx. measurements of the Medium Jacket are as follows: Chest 20"; Waist 18.5"; Hips 21.5"; Length 24.5"

I bought this coat because of the reviews posted both on here and on Nordstrom.com. The coat's measurement are perfect for me, and the piece is just as lightweight and warm as described. I took the coat out when it was delivered and hung it in my closet. I have a anti-moth hanger that's quite strong so I didn't notice until I'd put the coat on and walked towards the store that there was a disturbing, chemical-rotting smell coming from the coat. I soaked both the inside and outside of the jacket with a fabric deodorizer and left it in my backyard to air out, but the scent is still lingering. I'll try spraying it once more and if that doesn't work, I'll take it to the dry cleaners and see if they can do something about it. This down jacket is perfect, if not for that smell. If you're buying this piece be sure to have some Lysol and Febreze on hand.

Great color. I was tired of being lost in a sea of black down coats - this solved the problem. I am usually a Medium in coats but sized up to a large and it fits great. Quality is great very warm.

I bought the medium size but my daughter is size small, still, it is to small for her. It is very nice but will not look good for the size. From Hidalgo Tx, I sent it to my house in Mexico, so I paid dearly for transport.

I actually thought it would be too tight or too short, but it didn't I really like it I would definitely get another color.

It was too small I couldn't get an exchange I had to return the jacket and could not purchase it because the price was higher than what I purchased it.
