INITER 17 Keys Kalimba Finger Piano Thumb Piano Mbira with Tune Hammer

This is amazing and so fun!!! My oldest daughter has one and I thought it would be fun to have one as well so that we could play a finger piano duet!!! I’m really excited to find the time once school gets out for us to have some fun together! It is amazing what beautiful music you can make with these! The wood is gorgeous and it takes up such little space but has such a big beautiful sound. I was quite surprised!

The box of the instrument is smooth, polished wood fitted seamlessly together with rounded edges, and just an extra touch of flair with a detailed design around the sound hole. The keys are a sturdy, durable polished metal that lay across a bridge and are threaded through a bracket. Each key has a numbered musical notation stamped into it with the coordinating phonetical note, making it simple to learn how to play it using the accompanying mini songbook. This is an instrument anyone can play at any age, learning to play was a breeze. This thumb piano is sturdy enough even for kids. You play it by holding the box in your hands and plucking the metal keys, or tines, downward with your thumbs or fingers. The sound of this kalimba is amazing, very mellow and resonating. This instrument comes fully tuned, with a soft velour storage bag to protect it, a tuning hammer for future use, a tuning aid download for phone or mobile, and easy to learn instructions and songbook.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Product arrived with a huge crack from The sound hole all the way past the bridge and it's severely affects the sound causing a vibration a twang sound when the keys are played. Other than the broken wood, the instrument is as advertised and fun to play. Would've been 5 stars if it wasn't cracked. Not even worth paying the shipping to get a replacement.

Sounds and looks really nice

Wow, given the low price I thought this Kalimba might look & feel a bit rough around the edges - not so at all. The wood (Koa? Mahogany?) and finish is just as nice as the big name brand kalimba I already own. Keys feels a bit stiff right out of the box but they'll probably get a bit springier & smoother with use. Tuning hammer, presentation box, & directions were all icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

I bought one for myself and got so many compliments that I had to buy 2 more as gifts. Everyone just loves this and has fun trying to play songs. This instrument is very soothing sounding, almost like a harp.I recommend this to anyone who likes to fidget with their hands.

I sent another back. This one has a cleat beautiful sound. I love that it has an outlet for amplifier or recording. I got it for my adult son who seems to play every instrument. He played it a lot. It is beautiful on the mantle too.
