I have purchased this LANC control on amazon and received the Product on time. Thanks to seller for well packed and delivered the product on time.The initial impression with that LANC control is the external case appears very strong and matted finish gives rich look.The bi-directional zoom control works very smooth and it fits for my ergonomics criteria. However the record start / stop button and selectable switch are too plasticky Record button makes clicky sound when pressed. similar feelings when selecting LANC control button, its struck in the middle sometime. It has came with two connector cables. The 3.5mm jack is not a quality one, sometime the jack external cover come with hand when its disconnected. I would suggest you to buy an AmazonBasics 3.5 mm Coiled Stereo Audio Cable for connecting this remote with camera.When I first tested it with my SONY HXR-MC2500, I have noticed the Zoom-in & out operations were in reverse direction, Hence I reported it to the manufacture. They carefully listen that issue and offered a complete replacement for the item.

Works perfectly. Worthy Buy
Works perfectly. Have been using it since Dec, 2019. Thus far no issues. One star rating I have removed cause If I conceal the cable the Lanc does not work. I have no idea why. Without casing or concealed wiring it works fine. But nevertheless its a buy that's worth the penny invested. I use this to zoom in and out my panasonic camera for live streaming church services.

Need to correct
Zoom controller work smoothly but 2.5mm jack fit loose in zoom controller female socket 2.5mm jack get's unplugged while operating zoom controller(Fitting between jack and socket is poor)
