Small but powerful
I ordered this because I bought a camcorder from someone on Ebay. And it came with no power cord, only a battery. I searched for a O.E.M. replacement, but could not find one. I decided to try this one because it was a good price. When I received it I was sceptical because the whole thing is very small. I tried it anyway and it works Awesome!!! I am using it to transfer camcorder tapes to digital format, and this is working great, not stopping due to a battery running out of juice. I love it!!! Thank you for an awesome product!

Not quite powerful enough to do the job
Although a nice concept, even with a 2.1 amp charger, this adapter is not quite powerful enough to get my Mavica MVC-FD92 to charge. Perhaps it may work with some of Sony's lower power devices.

works for CCD-TRV58
works for Sony CCD-TRV58. You have to peel back bottom plastic portion on insert to camera for it to click into place
