The catchy three dimensionality of this pasta makes it a favorite among customers. On one side is the coat of arms of the area where this is made, near Genova. The other side features a stalk of wheat, a selected variety making this Ligurian specialty one

A fabulous, unique pasta, especially with this recipe!
On a trip to California'a Napa Valley, my husband and I discovered this pasta at the Oxbow Market in downtown Napa. After a little searching on the web, I discovered a recipe on the Martha Stewart website for Croxetti with Marinated Heirloom Tomatoes -- a must try! The delicious, simple ingredients in this recipe are a perfect complement to the pasta and once you try it, I think you will agree that it's a keeper! The price for the 3-pack on Amazon is the best I've found online too.Note: in my first version of this review, I actually included the link to the recipe mentioned above, but when this review was published, it was removed --- anyone know why? In any case, if it sounds interesting to you, it's easy to locate --- enjoy!

Make traditional cold pasta salads look exotic with croxetti!
This is a great pasta for summer salads. Cooked al dente, it can be tossed with your favorite salad ingredients without tearing to bits. I toast garlic in olive oil and mix in some quartered heirloom tomatoes and torn basil and then I cook the croxetti, drain it and toss it with the other salad ingredients while still warm. This cooks the tomatoes ever so slightly bringing out amazing flavor. The croxetti is exotic looking and makes a traditional pasta salad look even more enticing. Delish!

the best pasta
We are pasta fans and have tried most, including a month of pasta eating in Italy. This is by far the best pasta we have ever eaten. It is amazingly flavorful so keep your sauce very very simple to let the pasta shine. As a previoulsy reviewer said, ignore the recipe on the bag.

lost in translation
delicious pasta but the recipe on the side is either terribly translated or fake. what resulted was not a recipe but five ingredients in a bowl. buy the pasta for sure, but don't ruin it by using the recipe for the walnut sauce or even the cooking directions (really a gallon and a half to boil?)
