hard to get good reading when grilling meat. too long to stay erect when checking temperature

I don't know if it's water-resistant or not but I never fully submerge any digital instrument but everything's five stars works great looks great easy to clean

Received today. Out of box and top does not fit on base. Can't use like pencil as cover wont connect. Don't buy.
