GEERTOP 4-person 3-season Double Layer Aluminum Poles Waterproof Outdoor Tent For Camping, Climbing, Tourism

This is my second Geertop tent and I would honestly say a squeeze for four people but that's typical of all tents. Much more impressed with this one than the last. Condensation was a huge problem but it was better with this one. Still had some on the inside door. Considering it's March and was quite wet. The guy ropes were better positioned. It's still a great tent love the porch but disappointed there is no ground sheet with it. Love the roll top bag it comes in and magnetic poles. Fantastic kit. Easy to put up with two people and follow the photo. Slightly more difficult with one putting up but doable. Instructions aren't that clear. So again follow the photo or picture. Very sturdy. Very comfortable for two.

I give this 9/10.....Very well designed, lightweight for it's size, a generous bag, 5 minutes to put up (the 2nd time!), and pretty good head room. Not sure of 4 man, would be very tight for 3. Extra strong double cross design. TIP; the instructions are in Chinese, and are wrong; the long poles cross over each other twice; with this in mind, putting up is easy, and once the inner is attached, there's no need to ever take it down. This design makes it very very sturdy, was great in a storm, hardly any movement, and excellent waterproofing.My only slight criticism are the poles are very very long = bit of a nightmare in a festival environment + the inner lip is a bit high, but meh, tiny little gripes! Also, i got the yellow, and was told that it's a bit of a bug magnet, so maybe the red is a better bet, but i liked the light inside, the red would be darker.

It's a surprising tent in many ways, easy to put up and the rain falls off it nice and symmetrically. Plus it looks sturdy in the wind and came with a free footprint for the inner tent. As there there is not a zipped in porch I would recommend buying an additional footprint for this area.

Tent was lovely however, the zip on the door was poor quality and broke off so we had to sleep with an open tent all night! Not really ideal in heavy rain! Also instructions were in Japanese, so had difficulties trying to work out what the picture was showing in order to set it up. Again, not ideal in heavy rain!

Absolutely love this tent .. just had a weekend away in it .. withstood high winds .. the porch area is big enough for my low chair and to cook in .. the bedroom is big enough for my double airbed with room for clothes and stuff at the side .. went up easy and I tooknit down with the bedroom still attached .. I'm happy to recommend it .. I've had a great weekend :)
