Solid Rig
This scooter is solidly built. If you pay attention to the details, you will find that Qiewa didn't cheap out on hardware, cables and components. This is my third scooter (Glion and Speedway M4 being my first two) and by far the best build of the three. This is NOT a rebrand of an existing scooter...it is one of a kind. This is NOT a "last mile solution" scooter. If that is what you are looking for, there are plenty of lighter and cheaper options out there. This is perfect for someone that is looking for a rig that is tough enough, fast enough and has the endurance for every day travel. I use mine for traveling to my various fly fishing destinations as well as running errands. It is on the heavier side, but manageable. I have three ruptured discs but can still carry it up and down my basement steps. The speedometer seems to run on the fast side. The disc brakes are a huge improvement on the drum brakes found on many scooters. If you ride after dark, you will want to mount a blinking light on the rear fender...the tail lights only light up when you use the brakes. I can't say enough good things about their customer service. My first order arrived with a couple of issues. Initially I was going to request a refund, but Ron, their Wisconsin rep, went the extra mile on making an outcome that I was happy with, and spent plenty of time answering questions and offering support as I was getting set up. This kind of service is critical when you are spending this kind of money.

Sick scooter!
I've had this scooter for a few weeks now...and to me, it was money well spent. It's super stable, quiet, and easy to ride, while it also appears very durable. In fact, I am not very gentle on my stuff and instead tend to beat the snot out of everything I own having two wheels. My scooter has already taken some decent abuse on the chin, no problemo.I am 6' tall, 205lbs. Scooter is plenty tall for my frame, and powerful enough to move me up some pretty steep grades. Also, pops wheelies, does burn outs, 1-2 ft drop offs, jumps, light off roading....I put another 80lbs on it/my 9year old, and we check out X-mas lights each night. He loves it!Range, speed, comfort and durability is all good here/as advertised. The full suspension is awesome (must have for me) and having TWO disc brakes was essential as I've gotten over 40mph downhill. Not having two disc brake imo would be really unsafe, cuz this thing hauls azz.

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaast!
Major upgrade in all aspects from the Ninebot scooter; speed, power, sturdiness and the shocks make the ride so much smoother. My wife likes to go fast and yell "Skirt Skirt" as she passes everybody else. The looks on peoples faces as she skirts around them in their golf carts, bikes, and even cars, is worth the cost alone. Not for young kids or the faint of heart. :) Helmets are mandatory as this beast approaches 30mph.My son has a Onewheel and I was able to keep up with him on the off road trails. I did bottom out a few times on some roots but suspect that is more to do with a lifetime of eating too many chicken wings than a scooter design flaw.It is built like a tank, and you definitely know you are lifting some thing when moving it from the car. It folds up really easy. Only minor complaint is that when folded sometimes the horn button gets pushed and scares me.We were able to ride with two people on it (tight but doable) approximatley 320lbs total and still fly by everyone else.

Completely happy so far.
Apart from having Amazon cancel the order twice and it took 3 weeks to arrive with expedited shipping, it is what I expected. I did a month of research and comparisons with other scooters and this was the one. I don't have a car. I weigh 250 lbs. I live on the second floor and am in my mid 50's. So I needed something that I could use everyday and reliable. Something that wouldn't fall apart because of my size. Finally, something I could fold and carry up a flight of stairs. The thing weighs close to 60 lbs so it is at the limit of what I can carry up a flight. To address some of the issues about reliability as brought up on some Amazon reviews among other reviews elsewhere. On occasion sometimes products don't work as they should. It happens with phones, cars, tv's, computers and about anything tech. Also because the thing looks and feels like a tank, it needs to be cared for and maintained and not abused. The throttle has a lag because if it didn't, the thing would pop wheelies and kill people. Scooters are becoming more popular so shops should be popping up because I don't want to figure out how to take off the wheels for a tire. The brakes will need to be adjusted somewhat frequently but they look to be about the same as on a bike. There is no rear light but there is a brake light. Ten bucks one could be mounted. My display module has inaccuracies. The speed and trip odometer seem fairly accurate. But the total miles is way off. After the battery is completely run out, it takes mine just over 14 hrs to fully charge. The specs according to my weight and height are such. In flat, no wind and charged battery. 1st goes 9 mph. 2nd goes 20 mph. 3rd goes 30 mph. on flat slight downgrade no wind, I hit 31.7 mph. Wind, grade and speed setting affects battery dramatically. I do second during my commute and get a 35 mile range. Hope this novel helps. I do recommend it.

Stopped Working on First Trip But Good To Go Now
I read all the awesome reviews about this scooter online and was very excited to receive it. I charged the battery overnight per the instructions until the charger was green, but couldn't figure out how to start it. Fortunately, U.S.-based customer service was very responsive. However, I live on a steep hill in San Francisco and on the tail end (uphill) leg of my first ride on the Q1Hummer, it stopped working. I ended up returning it (at no cost) for a replacement. Other than the scooter not being able to handle the steep part of Potrero Hill (I weigh around 195 lbs), I am very happy with my Q1Hummer. It has reduced my commute by at least forty-five minutes per day--time I now get to spend with my family!
