This is a wonderful product.
I have a three year old german shepherd. I took him to several veterinarians. No one knew why he was frequently vomiting. He did have some stomach problems but was otherwise very healthy. Finally we took him to someone who knew right away what the problem was. His pancreas wasn’t producing enzymes. His new vet said that it is a very common problem with german shepherds. I just can’t explain how relieved I was that this was finally solved. After a month on the full dose, I finally have it adjusted to what he needs. Prozyme makes their mouth very dry. The dose I have him on now does not make his mouth dry and there is no more vomiting. We have also resolved his stomach issues with a product called Colostrum. It is amazing stuff. Do yourself a favor and check into it. It’s for people too.

but we also knew they enjoyed kibble, so when we saw the enzymes needed ...
Ended the hairballs, surprise! We knew that cats didn't have the ability to digest carbs, but we also knew they enjoyed kibble, so when we saw the enzymes needed to complete their need to digest kibble, we figured it was good insurance for the LIMITED amount of kibble we feed them. but lo and behold the hairball problems stopped for every cat in the rescue. some cats were not much kibble eaters so it won't change that. and it's simple to add to a batch of kibble for treat-time and the kiddos don't think it is a problem as they would for 'medicine' tasting stuff... and it only doubles the cost of kibble which is inexpensive and nice insurance to avoid feline diabetes which is what frequently happens to kibble fed cats... ttyl & hth

Great for my dog's disgusting habit
I know that when a dog eats it's own poop, it has no idea that it's the grossest thing ever, but when it comes back inside and tries to lick my face afterwards...Eeeek! I heard that Prozyme would work to keep my dog from doing this and so far so good. I've been using it everyday and my dog doesn't seem to even notice that it's in her food. I've watched her when she goes outside looking for a snack (blech) and she actually looks revolted when she smells it. Yay!On another note, my dog has always had a sensitive stomach. She would throw up a few times per week. Not sure if it was due to her "snacks" or something else, but that has stopped since we started giving Prozyme to her. That is such a relief to us and I'm sure to her as well. She's a small dog, Yorkie, about 6 pounds. I give her 1/8 tsp in her food for the entire day, which is about 1/4 cup of dry food.We have a cat and my dog was looking for snacks in my cat's box from time to time. We gave this to the cat and it gave the cat diarrhea. We stopped after two days and resorted to raising the cat litter box to where our dog can't reach it. I had heard that some people have given this to their cat with no issues, but didn't work for ours for some reason. At any rate, that problem was fixed by raising the litter box.

Works For a while
At first I liked it because it was making my dogs stools firmer but after a while it was no longer working. I continued to mix it in with my dogs food but it was no longer having effect on her. My dog suffers from EPI and it’s hard for her to absorb nutrients. I gave this a try but I guess she just needed something stronger. I did research and found the perfect pancreatic enzyme powder for my dog. If you’re reading this and have a dog that suffers from EPI I HIGHLY recommend Pan-tenex. This powder has improved my dogs health.

Unbeatable price and it works FANTASTIC.
I've used this for my doxie for 2 years. It has changed my life. No more diahreaa upset stomach and bathroom issues for my dog. He is doing great and he doesn't mind the powder at all. My vet charges about 20$ more for half the amount of what is in this container so i was ecstatic to find this excellent price!!!!!!!

Seems to be helping our dog's digestion and rashed
Our vet recommended this product to us, and sold it in about 200g bottles for a slightly lower price than here. I was shocked when the box came in and this bottle contained twice as much product. We have a six-year old Great Dane who has shown major stomach problems for several years. The vet thought this might be the answer to that problem and so far it has been! The dog was previously losing weight, had skin rashes and we seriously thought she might soon die. We bought two bottles of this from our vet several months ago and since we have been feeding this to our dog everything has been getting better. We dissolve about a half a teaspoon of this into about two ounces of hot water. Then we pour it into two cups of dry dog food and let it sit for 10 minutes to soak into the food. Then we feed it to our dog and it has really helped. The reason I purchased this on Amazon is because our vet is retiring and we had to find a new source.

Good Product.
My dogs have no problem with it on their food. It seems to be doing it’s job. It does not have a smell to me. I’ve been buying this for over a year.

Good product for my always hungry cat
I bought this when a friend recommended as supplement for my 13-year old cat with hypothyroidism. He's always hungry and would it himself to death, if allowed.I noticed a change after a month sprinkling the power over the wet food daily. He's not as hungry (and annoying) as before and have gained a pound - which is good as he's super skinny due to his condition. Because he's not starving all the time, he's calmer.I have started adding the enzyme to the wet food of my 16- and 6-yr old cats as well.
