If this guitar had a cat got here and working order, I would have given it five stars, however if I want to play it I'm going to have to go fix the short in the switch because it does not work or make any sound through my amplifier when set on rhythm, unless I wiggle the switch which has an obvious short in it. This means I will probably pay around $100 counting parts and labor to have the guitar functioning as it should. I have a cheap Donner imitation Les Paul for sound quality is very similar, and $129 it didn't come broken. And with a set of Wilkinson tuning hardware seems to be every bit as nice a guitar. I know this is not common in Epiphones, but wanted everything to at least function.And as with every guitar almost you buy, it needs a little tweaking here and there to make it play better, the strings of mine were a little bit higher off the neck then I would like, and one of the pickups nearest the next seems to be a little bit low, but that's personal taste and even with that the sound is better than many more expensive guitars.

The only bad thing about this guitar is that it arrived with scratches and scuffs but as far as quality goes, it sounds pretty good for a generic cheap guitar.

I bought for my 9 yr old grandson and it’s fantastic he loves it.

I'm sure there'll be more to come later, but for now, three things. First off, I've been a musician all my life, and even though I'm left-handed, I played guitar, just "upside-down and backward" as my friends said. About 5 years ago I had a stroke which paralyzed my left side but didn't want that to totally kill my music, so I bought this guy to try and train myself to play "the right way". Now for the beef. Number one, I was led to believe that these guitars were made in Great Britain, yet right on the shipping box it proudly states "Made in China." Number two, the tuner that came with this fellow simply will not accept a battery, however, this may have more to do with the fact that my left hand is paralyzed than any defect. I'm going to see if my son (who's also a musician) can get it to fit. In the meantime, I tuned using a tuner app on my cellphone. Last (for now) is the action. It's not bad on the lower frets up toward the nut, but further down by the body the strings ride extremely high. I may take him to a buddy of mine in a music shop and see if he can adjust the action for me.Other than these three things, the body finish is perfect, the frets aren't jagged, there's no noticeable fret buzz and the sound is fine. I may be putting on some different strings soon though, probably nylon, as that's just what I was used to before the stroke.Oh well, that's about it for now. I'm sure I'll have later though. As usual, thanks for the superb service Amazon. You guys are the greatest!!!! I'm just glad this guy didn't have to ship all the way from China!!!!

My Son has been begging me for a guitar for a long time now. I didn't want to invest in a thousand dollar guitar until I knew he was going to use it and wow has he. He comes home every day and practices and the best part, he is a natural. I have thrown a few songs at him and within hours he has it nailed. I am in shock at the talent that comes out of my own kid. This is greatly priced and from what he and his friends have said, plays beautifully. Highly recommend to everyone wanting to see where this hobby will take them.

Good for beginners. It is not a high quality product but it works for people who are starting in the world of playing a guitar and also for a good price. My previous review was only one star because I received the guitar totally smashed, but, I realized this sad inconvenient had been caused for the carrier company (USPS, UPS, whatever) and not for the manufacturer. So, give them a chance.

The guitar is decent quality. The strings loosen quite easily but I am not even close to an expert on guitars so that might be completely normal. It comes with a raincoat type material case, a tuner that takes batteries and has a little clip on it as well as picks and a case for them. It does not come with a stand I wish it had so I didn’t have to lean it on the wall. I’m not sure why the picture shows a stand or why it is advertised as being included. My kids played with it a lot the first day it’s handle (sorry if that’s the wrong word) is large and my ten year old is not able to wrap her hand around it. It comes with a strap that fit her well but does not fit a small adult.

La guitare, la poche, le pied rien à redire. En revanche il n y a pas les médiateurs et la corde est sale et sent le moisi. Pour quelque chose à ce prix là je m attendais à mieux et surtout à avoir tout correctement neuf ce qui n est pas le cas. De plus je ne peut pas tester l accordeur sachant que c est pour un cadeau dans 3semaines donc peut-être qu'il ne fonctionnera pas non plus au vu du manque et de l'état de certain objet.

Pleasantly surprised after reading other reviews and also the product listing to find the tuner came with supplied battery, guitar was well wrapped and came in perfect condition. That was until I removed the sticker offering a free months trial of online lessons, this left a sticky residue and almost an impossible mess to clean up. Apart from that very happy for a beginner Instrument in the first 20 minutes I learnt 4 chords, now I'm frantically deleting unspelt words on my touch phone as I have no feeling in my left fingertips. Apparently this sensation stops the more you play. Hopefully can buy something a little more expensive in a few month once I have a bit more experience.

You maybe asking your self is this martin smith acoustic guitar worth the price we'll yes it is I bought this simply to learn and then move onto a electoral guitar 🎸 Well for the price this guitar is fantastic the packaging is not the best but you wouldn't expect the best packaging for the price this guitar sounds great and is well built no marks or anything bent or out of shape if your looking for a fantastic beginner guitar well you found it never judge something by the pics or the price point because its always going to a hit and miss this would be perfect for someone looking for a decent guitar that comes with everything you basically need on a low budget that's my thoughts about this guitar anyways hope you feel the same way I did when I got mine thank you
