Where has this been all my life!
I had been using the old school non-bluetooth FM transmitter and this has changed my commute. It pairs easily and quickly. The play button picks up right wherever I left off... whether it be a podcast, music, or pandora.A key selling point for me is that it has an easy to reach power button. My cars power outlets stay on if something is plugged in so I would always have to unplug any transmitter when I turn my car off. Not anymore. Now it stays plugged and I just push the power button. Reverse for when I get in the car. And within seconds, it pairs. I hit the play button and it starts. One reviewer did note that it doesn't remember your previous volume setting... it always defaults back to "20". Fortunately, "20" is pretty close to the volume of your radio's output. Maybe "25" would be better but it is close enough.Lastly, the transmitter disrupts the signal well and there is little to no status. I haven't used the auto-scan feature to find "best" channel because I know which ones work for me. Also this does have even digit channels which I know is a great way to find an unusable channel... if your car can tune to even digit channels (i.e. 95.4).

Very Strong FM Transmitter
ProsVery Strong FM TransmitterVolume AdjustmentUSB Charging PortAudio Input & OutputStrong Mic (no need to yell)ConsDoesn't Remember Volume Setting. (-1 star)Very strong FM Transmitter. with other transmitters if there was a weak station I would start to hear static, but this transmitter is strong and over powers weak stations (using 88.1).Bluetooth doesn't want to connect some times on my S3, I just have to go into the Bluetooth devices and tell it to use media. Its great to have a volume adjustment to match the volume of other inputs, but the device doesn't remember the volume setting when powered off.The plug fell apart once when I pull it out of the car socket, It went back together easily, but it was hard to dig out the parts from the car socket.Sound quality is good, If I turn up the volume on the device past 25 I can hear some distortion (volume range is 1-30 default is 20).

Still works after over 6 years
Too bad it appears to be unavailable right now. After 6 years mine is finally starting to malfunction (can't switch stations after it's been on for a minute, occasionally fails to turn on completely at all) but otherwise it still works!

Good tunes
This thing is fabulous! Works perfect although takes a few tries with different stations to get the one with no static. Easy to sync and plays perfect through my truck system. Hands free calls are easy and the USB port allows charging the phone while the unit is on. It has enough range that I can have the phone by the tailgate and it still plays fine through the truck sound system. When you turn off the ignition, the unit pauses the tunes on the phone and picks right back up where it left off when the vehicle is started again. The only complaint I have (which is minor) is that every time you turn it on again you have to reset the volume up on the unit. Other than that, it is well worth the money.

If you have an older car this is a good device.
This is a good FM transmitter device for use in older cars that don't have built-in Bluetooth or plugs for your cellphone. It works well. I have used it with 4 different cell phones—a Nokia 520 Windows Phone 8, a Nexus 4 (Android), an iPhone 4S, and an iPhone 5s. It has connected with each one and transmitted the phone audio to the car's radio. It charges your USB device via a cable, while you listen to the audio. It can also integrate with your phone for voice calls.I would buy this again.

for the price, a good product
After seeing many reviews of simular products, I chose this one. The flex tube is very handy and the unit works like a charm. It was easy to set up and the only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating was the amount of bass that was lost while playing thru the radio. Using the same song on pandora with my iphone 4S, I switched from the BTC008 to my cord and back noting the bass drops about one half from the cord mode.... Still a good product.....

Just what I wanted
This does exactly what I wanted - allows me to listen to music on my iphone through my car stereo. I was getting moderate static through the first fm station that I tried, so tried a different one and am getting a lot less static. I haven't tried the hands free phone call feature. My unit did arrive missing a part in the plug - the metal tip that holds the fuse in place and makes contact within the outlet. The Customer Support team was pretty responsive on sending the part, though I did need to remind them that they needed to send it out after not receiving it 2 weeks after the part was requested. I would definitely buy this again.

It's dead!
I'm sad. I really liked this product. It looks great. The buttons were easy to use. The reliability of bluetooth connection between my iPhone and this device was unbelievably consistent and clear.... for a couple of weeks. Soon after I used this on a road trip, this device started to blink out on me. The digital face would turn off and the bluetooth would drop. It stopped working completely once, and then did it again a few weeks later. Now it is dead. I've made sure that it wasn't my car or phone, before deciding that I needed to send it back. Maybe my situation is one in a thousand. Maybe it's not.I'll attempt to contact the company that made this device and exchange it. I'll try to update this review when I hear back from them.
