Great stuff
Found this at a local supermarket and was thrilled to find it available online. Much better than some meat "stick," these landjaeger are much thicker than what you might expect, and certainly more tasty. There's a really interesting history with landjaeger- check it out if you're into that thing. Otherwise, it's a perfect go-to protein for camping, hunting, hiking, fishing, work-out-snacking, or just because you want something meaty. It may also be worth mentioning that it doesn't leave your palate blown out from salty MSG. Keeps for much longer (several months) than I originally believed, and came vacuum-sealed in sturdy packaging. Great stuff.

DELICIOUS! Will continue to buy
I buy these all the time, I used to live in Seattle and fell in love with them there. I lived without them for a long time after I moved to St. Louis, now I can get them on Amazon which is incredible!! These taste like salami but better. Good source of protein as well. I take them for lunch sometimes if I am in a hurry. You can also cut them up and have them as a tasty addition to a meat and cheese plate. They are just so delicious. No other meat stick/landjaeger that I know of tastes anywhere near as good. The snappy casing is also very enjoyable. These are SUCH a treat and I adore them!!!

Very tasty, well packaged
They taste different than the ones I have had before but they are as good as the ones at Beda's German food(Great place!) in San Luis Obispo, CA. Moist and a really full flavor. It works out to about $2.55 apiece so the 'value' is up to your appreciation of them. Since I can't get them where I live it's cheaper than driving a couple of hundred miles. I don't eat them very often so it's a nice treat.Pour a nice German beer, take a bite and enjoy!

Good old Land Jaeger. Perfect snack, plenty of protein and Flavor with out all the Chemicals.
I grew up in Germany and used to love Land Jaeger. I'm not a fan of Slim Jim's and the like they have here, because of all the crap they put into them, from the low quality meat by products used, to the high grease content, artificial flavors and preservation chemicals it's just not a good snack.I like to put a couple of these in my backpack or pack several of these when the family goes on outings. Lot's of protein, made with quality meat and ingredients. If I ever find myself hungry but not able to grab food, I always have these to more than hold me over.

Quite the winner!
Landjeager is a family favorite .We've left one of the big name German brands because they closed most of their stores, their online prices are ridiculous, they shrunk their product, and they changed the texture of their casing. Just wasn't the same and certainly not worth the price anymore. After trying several brands online, we found one too peppery, one with too much smoke and little caraway flavor, and this particular brand to be quite satisfying. Just a real nice flavor for a really reasonable price. The shipping was quick the price was right and they've gained a new loyal customer.

Very well made product, excellent quality smoke, taste
Very high quality tasting, you can just tell it’s a well made product. Smoke flavor is bold but really clean, not pungent or lingering - definitely worth the price, try with mustard

Good taste at first, but didn't last as long as advertised
When I first got it, I immediately opened one and ate it, and loved it. However, the ones I've opened more recently aren't as good. I've noticed that some of them have either seeped air in our outgassed, because the packages aren't all vacuum sealed anymore; it's obvious that there's some kind of gas inside. Those ones have turned a darker color, and the taste isn't as good as the first one I had. The expiration date has not yet passed, and is in fact still months away (August). In short: they're good, but eat them quickly

Tangy and smokey. Pretty much perfect.
Great balance of tangy, smokey, and salty flavors. Reminds me of a dry version of truly great summer sausage (no the mass market hilshire farms stuff, bit something from a boutique place in Wisconsin). Wish they packaged one at a time or multiples in a resealable bag, as each sausage is over 200 calories. Two in one sitting is a bit much.
