Bare Minimum High-Quality Rosin Flux
Kester 245 is a very clean high-quality solder, with a minimum size core (1.1%) of halide free low activity flux (ROL0, per J-STD-004B). I use it when I'm using supplemental liquid or gel flux, (which I don't want to mix with my standard go-to Kester 44's flux). Kester 245 leaves the least amount of non-acidic residue. It is truly a no clean solder.

Best solder for electronics projects and repairs
Kester solder is the gold standard, and this is the recommended solder for electronics projects and repairs. Be aware that this contains lead, so be sure that your soldering station is well ventilated. You don't want to be breathing the fumes!

World's best solder. Don't buy the random brands, this stuff is the best! I use it heavily for repairing vintage tube amplifiers. Flows great, sticks wonderfully.

Meh.
This solder Kester 24-6337-8800 is supposed to be some of the best out there. I've been trying to use it off and on now for 3 weeks and still can't get it to flow well. I don't know if it's the no-clean flux... or if that flux is only 1%, but seemingly no matter what temp I set it at, it doesn't want to play nice. It is shiny and clean looking when it is finished, but it just takes a lot of effort to get there. I'm sure there is a trick to getting it to work quick and easy, I just haven't found it yet. Perhaps when I do I'll adjust this review and toss another star on so that I can let y'all know how I fixed what I was doing wrong with it. Till then, I'm using KESTER SOLDER 24-6040-0027 which I've found works beautifully and doesn't take much clean up with the flux.

Exactly as advertised, received quickly from TEquipment
Nice, large one-pound spool of thin, rosin-core, traditional lead-tin-alloy solder. This traditional alloy melts at a lower temperature than the newer lead-free solders and so is easier to use, which can make it easier to solder sensitive components and equipment without damaging them (lower temp, less heat).Kester is a well known and regarded name brand that has been around for a long time. Excellent choice for general soldering.
