Don't Toss the Microwave Out because of this!
Replaced the capacitor and the 20 amp fuse inside of the microwave - and away it's working like brand new! Most peeps would get a new one - in this case it would have costed me $650to replace this unit.......$19 total for Capacitor and fuse. Smart thing to do.

Replacement capacitor
Only complaint is the terminals are smaller. Came with new spades, just had to cut,strip and crimp new ends. Not as heavy duty as original spades but microwave is up and running.

Just the terminals issue works fine
Worked fine just the terminals were much smaller than the OR unit you should change the female crimp terminals to match

Good for a day!
My microwave didn't work, and I tried to fix it. The fuse would blow, and I watched a video on-line on how to fix it. The guy had the same problem and noises when it failed. And I tracked the GE flowchart to the capacitor. This capacitor is the correct requirement. The microwave worked for a day; maybe 12 uses. It is a little more than 2 years old. I have saved the critical parts from my 20 year old microwave. Right now, I will play later, and another new one is on its way for Christmas. Do you remember the good old days when everything was made in Japan?
