My best homey COVID purchase
I have bought a lot of things since COVID has kept my family and me at home. This is my favorite item by far. And the best investment. I already had a little wood-burning pit area made out of cinder blocks. I wanted the option to go back to wood occasionally, while also having gas for everyday use. The way to have the best of both was to set a gas kit into our pit.Everyday use has actually become EVERY DAY use. We never lit the wood pit as much as we have the gas version. So easy to turn on and off, without the lung-irritating smoke or the lingering smell. Now we have a focal point for our outdoor space. It draws us in on cool mornings with coffee and at night for wind-down time. The square shape was just perfect for our pit. We considered buying a taller table-style gas pit with the propane stored underneath, but I’m glad we went with this. The fire is closer to the ground, so heat is directed outward from below, warming our legs like a traditional pit would. One drawback is the amount of rock that comes with it. It doesn’t quite disguise the metal fire ring, so we bought another bag of rocks at the home improvement store for a few bucks. Make sure you get the kind that is meant for fire. The next thing is to get a cover for the propane tank that can also serve as a little end table.

Easy fire for camping
I love this thing! We live in California and we have a few parks where wood burning fire pits are not allowed. Sooooo this was the next big thing for s’mores, because you can’t go camping and not eat s’mores. I gave it 3 stars for ease of use simply because sometimes it can be finicky to get to start. But other than that assembly was pretty easy and the hose to the gas tank is pretty long. It’s a tad bit heavy but shows it’s sturdy. I love that I don’t have to fight wind or worry about putting out a fire with a ton of smoke at the end of the night that ashes over all my belongings. While wood burning definitely gives you the full fire pit experience this is just so convenient. Probably not optimal for camping every time as it does take up some space plus you have to travel with a big gas tank, but it’s so easy, turn on when needed, turn off when done, no hassle no stinky smoke clothes smell or hair lol

Be warm
Yes! This is the only way to safely have a camp fire during most of the year. As fire dangers have risen yearly and the fire season gets longer every year. With this only the highest fire danger will prevent you from enjoying a warm campfire. Easy to use and very portable. I have only good thing to say. I have cooked hot dog, s’mores and popcorn over this so far. With a grate it could be use for more (however drippings will get on the stones and my become problematic with wildlife) burn off unused food before storing. Great heat output. This keeps 6-8 people warm when on high. Only issue is high wind, it will not stay lit in high wind. (Kind of expected)

Functional and easy to use
I really like this fire pit. My grandma ordered a round one for her vacation house and they used it almost daily for 6 months, so when she came home without it, she was regretful. She asked me to order her this one because she liked the style as well as the price. It arrived on time, and she was so excited to try it out. She had to run to the store to grab a propane tank, but she assembled that thing in no time, and we got to test it out that night. She mentioned her other round fire pit had a better heat output for a party but since it’s her and her husband who will utilize it more times than not, she wasn’t too concerned. I really liked it and it was really easy to use. I’m definitely going to purchase one for my house!!

Great fire pit, worth the price!
Absolutely love this fire pit. I’ve probably killed 6 propane tanks easy with this thing. Great in the summer time and great in the winter. This is well worth the money. The heat output is pretty decent, I could see near it in shorts and a t shirt and be comfortable in 45 degree weather. Make sure to check that cable that connects to the striker, I have had it come off while moving it. The hose on the one I got was at least 6ft.

Perfect for a bonfire
I was really worried this was going to be too small. But it was perfect. I was thinking I was going to need to stand for it but we didn’t. We used this for a bonfire pit to roast marshmallows at a Christmas tree lighting ceremony. My only complaint is the line that runs from the propane tank to the pit. It is in the way and we had to put something over it for people to avoid tripping on it and knocking over the propane tank. The short line is very dangerous

Great instant smokeless portable fire pit!
A friend of mine bought one of these and I was so impressed. It is so great to have a fire without the smoke or wood. It’s light enough to carry down to the beach. Then you don’t have to haul all the wood. You just have to carry the propane tank. But that’s less than wood. I’m super excited about this purchase. I’ve used it one night and it worked fabulously.

Nice alternative to a traditional camp fire.
Purchased this so we can ditch the wood while camping. Have a much larger version at home and thought, this is great, push a button and we have fire. No smoke, no fear of hot coals that could cause a wildfire. Many state parks out west do not allow traditional camp fires, so this is a great alternative. It’s small, so easy to store and not to heavy. Easy to assemble. Would recommend.
