A Streetcar Named Desire

All the characters are written very realistically. Blanche had all my sympathy.Although she is not the stereotypical innocent victim, she's a victim all the same. It highlights how ruthlessly the world treats women.

This is my favourite play of all time. Its writing is magical and beautiful and you just get lost in the story. You can read it again and again and even that might not be enough. All the characters are beautifully portrayed, especially that of Blanche who is my favourite. Tennessee Williams is one of the greatest playwright of all times, and also my favourite. His stories have a magical charm in it, and even though the setting is often of a normal household, he can take you on a other-worldly journey. I don't have enough words to describe this magnificent play, but I can say one thing that once you start reading this play, you will never be able to put it down.

The book is light weighted and very thin. The discription is in italics and and for those who do judge a book by it's cover, this book is very pretty. The delivery was on time . It's worth the money also

One of the best play that I've read of modern period, could relate to the character see her prejudice, downfall, hypocrisy of society
