Maped Connect DUO 2 Hole Sharpener / Eraser Combo, Assorted Colors (049249)

I got this sharper and eraser duo for my little one in April. After using it for four months, the sharpener has not let me down, it does not break the pencils. Like sharpener, the eraser is just as good, leaving no smudges behind. However, there is one downside to this sharpener and eraser duo. There is a small space for the pencil shavings, so they need to be emptied often. Other than that, I would recommend this 2-in-1 sharpener and eraser duo to everyone since it is easy to use and carry around.

I like using pencils every once in a while and this sharpener is great! We have an old-school electric sharpener at work that makes the top of your pencils super skinny and look awful and not sharp at all, so I got this one to try it out and it's great. I keep it at my desk and everyone at work found my secret sharpener stash and they are constantly coming up to me asking to borrow it so definitely happy with it as well as everyone else in the office!

This has a two hole sharpener which is very handy. The bigger hole would apparently sharpen a crayon or other implement of that size. The smaller hole is perfect for # 2 and drawing pencils. It's easy to empty & requires frequent emptying due to very limited space. Then there is a handy, hinged, lid that snaps closed over the sharpening holes. This neat, attatched, cap keeps the sharpener bits of wood inside the container. Brilliant design.The opposite end also has a cap but it is completely removable to ease use of the generous, white, plasticine eraser. It works very well, doesn't tear or damage your paper, and makes this a very handy tool for professional and amateur artists alike. It's easy to take with you anywhere. That makes it an extraordinary tool for artists who work many places beside just at home. Love this!

I used this for a college art class and it was very helpful. It was small enough to fit in my backpack. It never opened in my backpack and it is easy to empty. Also, the eraser is easy to get to and use.

I usually use a Staedtler sharpener on my Prismacolors but this is just as good, if not better. I had to only turn my pencil twice & it came out with a very nice point. Less sharpening means less pencil waste. I would buy this again for all of my color pencils.

Nice sharpener compact and keeps the shavings contained.

I love love this sharpener. I purchased a few at a time because of course kids will be kids and loose things. My daughter loves this because she likes to draw and she says it doesn't smear the lead from the paper. She says it's great for school work as well.
