Gets your hand a bit inky, but so far pretty good
I had really tried to find a 4-digit number stamper but had no luck. So I went with this 8-digit stamper. I have found a workaround by putting a sticky note covering the other 4 digits and it has worked! I do with the font for the numbers wasn't so old school looking. But I do have to say that out of all my stampers, this one has just enough ink every time. The numbers are easy to rotate, but I still get my hand inky while moving them...a problem that would be difficult to solve.

This is my 2nd in about 8 months. My last one used to stick a lot and then it just broke apart. So here is my 2nd the wheels to turn the numbers are very tight and hurt my fingers to move.

It's good - I have no idea what the other people are talking about.
Dealing with stamps like these one should expect some ink to get onto your hands initially especially while still figuring it out. Once I figured out what I need to do I don't get ink on my hands. The adjustment wheel is a bit narrow and sharp. This is to be expected. No getting around it. You don't want it to be too wide or not have teeth. Adjustment wheel is tight enough. The combination of the narrow wheel, teeth, and tightness could hurt fingers with fragile skin. This is to be expected to have all the stuff it needs to do.To me it is fine. Other people are just complaining about limitations of the product.

Can print dates up to 12/31/9999
I bought this because all the other 'date' stamps only went to a certain year. This one is just numbers and symbols so you can set a date of 12/31/9999 if you want. I prefer the date format of yyyy-mmdd[] - the only thing is the last column doesn't have a blank. So I just use the '#' symbol.

It's a solid stamp
.The dials are hard to turn at first but move more freely as you rotate the numbers more times. I use it to stamp a multitude of documents at work and it works great. The numbers aren't too big, I'd say maybe s 14 or16 font? I'm glad i bought it it's saved me so much time and hand aches!
