Great for touching up and ugly shower, just make sure to thoroughly clean first
I had company coming and little time to address the ugly grout in the shower. This thing saved me. It goes pretty far, but if you are doing a large tiled shower you may need two. It is also mold resistant which is a bonus. If there is already mold on the tile, you should use a cleaner with bleach and scrub it down first. Make sure it is 100% dry before applying the pen.

Color not accurate
I’ve used these before on other projects and loved them. However, oThe light grey does not match cap and is really off white

Great product
Grout pen works as stated. Fast and simple. Renewed floor bathroom grout in one easy step.Tiles are the small, white hexagonals from the 1920s. The grout looked like it hadn't been maintained since then. It is cracked, chipped, and stained. Absolutely disgusting. I tried numerous cleanings with assorted chemicals and compounds (commerical and homemade) along with steam cleaning to no avail. This was a final effort. I was very skeptical. Much to my delight, this was the best fix. An elegant solution.

Great, but doesn’t seal the grout
I love the way this turned out, but it doesn’t seem to seal the grout. I wish I had known that before so I could seal it after using the grout pen. The color faded after the first shower after applying the product. It says it’s a sealer in the heading, but when you read the package, it doesn’t say it anywhere.

Awful
This is one of those less than one star situations. He did not cover the grout. It was more like bright white than any color of gray. It looked so awful. Thank goodness I only did a few squares. I had to scrub scrub, scrub with one of those Spinning brushes to get enough off that it looked mediocre at best. I’m not even bothering to return it. It’s not worth the trouble. But beware.

Very good product
This product saved me money and time. My grout is two years old and I used several products to clean it.. (ie. )baking soda and peroxide,Oxyclean, and a vinegar based cleaner with negative results. I was reluctant to try the grout pen because some of the reviews stated it was hard to use and the tip didn't last long. Well I'm so glad I tried. I did my kitchen and a half bath with no problems. You really have to follow the directions completely and it will work fine. I used a paper plate to prime the pen each time the paint didn't flow out freely. Just keep priming the pen and don't press down too hard and it will work fine. I used the winter grey . I did one coat and let it dry for one hour then went over it again. My only concern is how long will this pen keep my (floors /grout )looking good and refreshed. I would redo this process ever year if I had to. Will give an update later to let you know if its last 3 weeks or 3 years. I did e-mail the company RAINBOW CHALK , and asked if I needed to seal the grout chalk to keep it from staining and they replied No. So only time will tell.UPDATE:It's January 2023 and I'm reapplying another coat from 2020. Only because it started to look a little worn. I really didn't have to do the entire kitchen over but I wanted a uniformed look. This pen is excellent. I don't need to re-touch my half bath, for some reason it still looks good. This time I'm not going to clean my kitchen floors with nothing but really hot steaming water. I mop my floors practically every night and found that different chemicals aren't necessary. In addition I purchased the O-Cedar mop and bucket combo and it works great.Note: I was not paid for this review!

Wonderful inexpensive fix that’s easy to use!
So easy! This is the Winter White over a badly yellowed and stained white grout. There is a blue hue to it that I see in the room but it’s so close to silver it doesn’t really show blue in the photos. From other reviews it sounds like the grays are all cool/blue and not warm-? Final results will depend on lighting and wall color of course but this is a safe bet if you want a bit of color; you can always go darker. Could probably revert to the white pen also if you don’t like it as this covered really well and is fairly light.Like other reviewers warned, don’t rub too hard or the grout will destroy the paint tip. You can flip it over if that happens but better if you can avoid it. This took several passes here and there but it’s not like you have to do two entire coats, just what you need where you need it to get the coverage you want. I also didn’t worry about cleanup as I went; I was careful then wiped up any overage later after paint absorbed some. Was going to use Mapei Grout Refresh on the floor of this bath but dreaded using a brush. Can’t wait to try the grout pens instead!Tip: if you get it in your skin, rubbing alcohol takes it right off.
