Pretty much exactly what I was looking for
I didn't give this a 5 because it's the best bread that I ever had. I gave it a 5 because it's exactly what I was hoping it would be [except that I was hoping for a slightly longer "best by" date (June 2026 for a end of May 2025 order)]. I intentionally paired it with something that it was never meant to be eaten with [a savory chive sour cream spread], and it still tasted fine. Select accompaniments carefully. With butter, it was good. I think with regular [or sweat flavored] cream cheese, honey, or similar toppings, it would be great. And of course, I bet that it goes great at a campsite with baked beans.I did not have the problems that a small number of other buyers report. The bread was moist, but not excessively so. It wasn't hard to get out of the can. It sliced pretty easily. And as noted, it tasted fine. It's not meant to be served at a Michelin * restaurant; it's meant to be kept for situations that need shelf stable bread. If the price goes back down [it's currently a lot more expensive than it's been in a long time], I'll be buying more of this for my pantry.

Really fresh.
Fresh, moist and really good. I ordered a case and was afraid I'd get dated or almost dated cans but they were brand new.

I've loved this since I was a little kid.
Back in the 1960's. Mom used to heat this up in the oven, slice it, then add cream cheese. These days, I heat up only a few slices at a time in the nuker for about 15 - 20 seconds. Now I add other toppings like Cottage cheese, youghurt, honey, jam, peanut butter, (or a combo), etc.YUM YUM !!

More like muffin in a can, less like bread, but still really good. Pantry/prepper staple!
I like it and would buy it again. Bigger than I thought! Has a bran muffin taste. Rich and dense, and ever so slightly sweet. Definitely taste the molasses, which I like. Overall I just wasnt sure what to expect as I hadn't had this before, but I like it. I bought on a whim. I was hungry, haha.Makes nice addition to preps but just a good pantry staple now too. Eat as snack, eat with a bowl of something hot. Definitely more muffin like than bread like but all good. Toss one in emergency supplies in car, put one in hiking pack, keep one at work. Of course, need a can opener. The portability and long long shelf life is greatly appealing.Have to open can from both ends, and use a spoon to push out--with some force. Came out all in one piece.

Brown Bread in a Can
Brown bread in a can is great toasted with butter and whatever topping you choose. Great to have on hand for any situation that may occur and always a hit at deer camp.

Anything you want is at Amazon.
We looked at every grocery store in our area. None of them carry this great brown bread. I thought I would try Amazon and sure enough, there it was! If you are like us and prepare for the unexpected this is perfect for the pantry. You can wrap it in aluminium foil and heat it over an open fire. I'm 74 and ate this when I was a little kid. It's just as good now. How will you get bread when the electricity goes out? This 12 pack was even lower priced than when we used to buy it in the store. Think about it. Warmed up and topped with cream cheese is like a dessert! It also arrived earlier than expected. Not one can was dented. We have lived through typhoons, tsunamis and blizzards with no power. Someone always wants bread, this has saved us more times than I can remember.

Not what I wantef
I thought this would be great with a little butter and coffee, but for some reason my taste buds didn't care for the flavor. So I donated the cans to a local church food bank. We all can't enjoy the same flavors.
