With all the ablative antifualing paint around for 200 a gallon and up it's nice to see a product come in under 100 bucks that gets the job done !! This one gallon comes with a kit and I was blown away for the price!! Paint try brush roller gloves and jump suit all included in ur shipped box !!! The epoxy and paint are both great I bought both and rarely do reviews unless I'm overly impressed.. some people keep there boats in year round in heavy salt conditions and I guess if that's what ur doing and u want to spend 300 on paint that's great .. but for the rest of us this stuff is nice easy to work with dries strong and the color blue they have is awesome!!! I found this product to do the job exactly as described and with some elbow grease you could really do a nice job with it ... the only negative if there is one is the can was a bit dented like the rest of reviews say but nothing that I thought mattered.. keep up the good product nice to see someone giving u a decent product with extras and not trying to rob you

Don’t waste your money. I live in Newport Beach CA. After spending a ton of time prepping and doing everything exactly right ... two coats etc ... I get a note from my monthly bottom cleaner( that I know and trust for years) after having the boat in the water less than 1 month . he told me my bottom is covered in brown and asked me what kind of paint did I just use. He said the paint job was beautiful but he had never seen paint attract so much fouling so quickly , even more than a bottom with no paint. He said all I can do is have the bottom cleaned twice a month now or haul it and have the bottom done professionally. What a bust ! Seriously ... I relied on all those positive reviews ... all that work for nothing.

Simply amazing!!! Totally exceeded my expectations. I opened the box and they included for free: a complete roller, tray, gloves, body suit, dust mast, and mixing sticks. All free!!!! I have been bottom painting my own boats for over 20 years and this paint was the best value for the price. It came well mixed and applied very well. My boat has been in the slip for almost 3 weeks now and there is still no single salt line or growth starting yet. For this product I paid $82 plus shipping and again all inclusive with supply materials. Previously at rip off West Marine I would pay $129.99 and still have to buy all the support materials. If you are reading this please trust me I have been doing my own boat maintenance for over 20 years and have learned a lot over the way, many many mistakes included. This product is awesome you will be very pleased!

Bought a gallon used half a gallon and painted two boats. 23' CC and 26' Cuddy. Paint covers well and fast with a 6' 3/8" nap roller. tape off the lines from existing first and keep the roller full. Did both boat bottoms in one evening. Good product arrived quickly. Dried within an hour but I didn't run boats in lake until 4 days later.

I got two years out of it in fresh water. No offense to those who find it helpful to have all the goodies tossed in, and I do appreciate them but that has little to do with what I am looking for out of bottom paint. $15 worth of accessories is nothing compared to the labor and prep needed to do a bottom job. I have had several positive experiences with Jamestown so I thought I would try the paint. It goes on fantastic and looks good, dries flat without roller marks. Two years is what I would have expected and that is what I got. So come spring I will purchase again and put in the hours to reapply. The second go around I would hope will give me three years. Like with most paint, prep is everything.

I used this on my 30 foot proline boat I kept it in a fresh water lake all season, I sanded the previous paint wiped off the dust and applied this over the top. The previous pain was thin and chipping. Did great almost zero growth under boat side had a bit but was easily brushed off when I pulled boat for season, comes with awesome little kit with tyvec suits rollers etc...top shelf product and thoughtfulness, worked beautifully. Update...I cleaned bottom of boat prior to launching after a full season in the water...it took 5 minutes to do a 30 foot boat only things that stuck to boat all season was some on the sides below water line, but it came right off no cleaning required underneath and plenty left for at least one more year...awesome product

Product is great.Shipping poor. Ordered once, it never arrived.Ordered 2nd time and it arrived but the can is so dented that I can't believe it did not leak.I need to use it this weekend or I would return due to condition. I've bought this product before and it always came with a roller, sash, tray, and protective suit. All I received was a dented can.

Excellent bottom paint! For the quality received, the price makes this a great value. I get tasked with bottom painting our boat each season and usually dread the job. This paint is nice and thick, so it provides a lot of coverage in one coat without drips or bare spots on the fiberglass. The consistency makes the paint easy to control along the sides of the lower hull without bleeding under the painters tape. A nice, flat, true black with a smooth finish. I painted on a partly cloudy, moist day in low 50 degree temps and it rained for 3 days straight begininning that night. No issues. It even flawlessly covered spots where we had scraped off troublesome barnacles. Very happy with this purchase and we have recommended it to our boating friends. We will continue to buy this paint each season!
