Q: Is this recomended for fresh water use?

I'm not sure. But I cant see why it wouldnt. After all, its fresh water and Not salt water, So I guess it dont have to work as hard. But I would check with the Manufacturer!

Q: can it go on a pontoon boat

Hello, this product is suitable to bare fiberglass, steel, wood and previously painted surfaces. It is not recommended for use on aluminum. We do have an anti-fouling paint specifically designed for pontoon boats called TotalBoat AlumiPaint AF. Thank you.

Q: What preparation is needed for a second coat

I just followed the directions . I believe it gave a temperature parameter and a time guide line. No problems.
