I used to get keratin treatments at the salon but then learned to do it myself. It takes half the time for a fraction of the cost. I have long wavy/frizzy/fine hair and use this treatment two- three times per year. Be careful not to do treatments sooner than 12 weeks apart or your hair may start to break off easily. Mine did until I cut back to once every 5 months.I have been using this brand for about 12 years. I use it to nourish my hair, keep the hair strong but most importantly to lessen the time it takes for my hair to dry.It does smooth out curls but not pin straight. . It burns your eyes during the heating parts (blow drying and straightening) but that’s how I knew it was as strong as the ones I liked from the salon.

I highly recommend this product to those who want to have smooth, soft, and shiny hair, as using this treatment just once will achieve that result.

Además, ayudó a reducir el frizz y a alisar mi cabello de manera natural. Es fácil de aplicar y los resultados se ven en poco tiempo. 3C/4a Hair wanted texturizer vibes and I GOT EM.For some God forsaken reason My hair is so damn dry and prone to breakage so I was searching for a healthy solution to soften my curls so they don’t tangle. I’ve had a texturizer before and I loved it BUT we all know relaxers shrink your hair shaft 3x so my hair of course broke off then too. ENTER BRAZILIAN BLOW OUT. The trick with this product is: Leave it on to process for the minimum amount of time (17-20 min only) only do 5-6 passes with the flat iron on the roots and only 2-3passes on the mid and end lengths. The nape of my neck is 3b so I applied product to that last, my 4a sections are at the crown so I did that section first. You know your hair. If you’re like me and you have 3 curl patterns on your head, apply product to the tightest curls first. This method will have Your roots slightly relaxed and your curls will be the same shape but soft as hell. After I washed and conditioned my hair I let it air dry and it was PERFECT and SOFT and my curls and volume were both in the room (with no product at all). I completely preserved my curl pattern but relaxed them slightly if at all with the treatment. This is going to be the key to length retention for me bc my hair is stronger and hydrated. Win Win. What I didn’t like about this product was the harsh chemical smell. My eyes and throat and nose burned I had to blow dry my hair with my eyes closed it was bad. But the product is so good I’ll be using it again.

Longer answer: First - I am one of those people who doesn’t write reviews, but here goes. Forgive me for the length. Have you ever seen Leanne Morgan talking about chicken fuzz hair w/menopause? If not, Google it. Anyway, that’s how I feel. I’m over 50. I don’t want to look 20, but I do like beautiful hair. Over the last few months, the chicken fuzz hair has been unmanageable. So I thought ok, let’s try an online thing and found this product. Ordered it, got it, did the process.For reference, I have very long, fine hair.If you choose to move forward with this chemical treatment, pay attention to everyone when they say to do it in a well ventilated area. I started slathering the product on, and within 10 minutes, my house was unbearable. My eyes were watering (badly, very badly). I knew I couldn’t stop so I pressed on. By 30 minutes in, every place the slathered hair touched my face and skin was burning. My nose hairs, mouth, and lungs felt like they were burning with every breath I took. I’d press on with the steps and run outside when my eyes, nose, and lungs couldn’t take it anymore. The blow dry and straightening were absolutely awful. I nearly couldn’t do it. After 100% done w/process, I HAD to shower and wash my hair. NO ONE should sleep with this stuff just lingering on their hair.And so. I’m done. Hair does seem better. Great. Will I try this again? Absolutely not. I plan on throwing bowls, combs, brushes, towels, and potentially even the tools I used away.Bottom line: save your money and find a reputable professional and pay for a treatment,, find another online option with better reviews, or…live with the fuzz and straighten forever. Estoy encantada con esta keratina. Desde la primera aplicación noté mi cabello mucho más suave, sin frizz y con un brillo espectacular. El alisado se mantiene por semanas y me facilita muchísimo el peinado. Además, el producto tiene un aroma agradable y no irritó mi cuero cabelludo. ¡Definitivamente la volvería a usar y la recomiendo con los ojos cerrados!
