Human Anatomy for Kids: A Junior Scientist's Guide to How We Move, Breathe, and Grow

Great introduction for kids
Purchased this because my son(4-5) was starting to ask lots of questions about how his body works. He has learned a great deal with me reading this to him over several months so he wasn't overwhelmed with the amount of information. I like that there is a small experiment included at the end of each chapter/unit that uses simple supplies that most people have on hand already. My son was interested that he would choose to read this at bedtime instead of some of his other books. There is a section on reproduction at the end of the book. It includes all the body parts for male and female and mentions that sperm and egg have to come together to make a baby, but doesn't mention how that happens. I feel like this is a good introduction for curious kids without overloading them with information.

Short and sweet
Good for ages 8+ of they are interested. Probably 12+ if it's required for school. A nice addition to our homeschool library. It has short descriptions with colorful and accurate pictures for different parts of the body.

Good high level review for kids
Touched on a lot in this shot book. Easy to read and understand for almost all ages. Felt it was a bit less encompassing than I envisioned or would have preferred but a great intro for 6-8yrs (bought for 9yr old daughter and thought she needed a bit more)

Great book for learning, appropriately challenging for a 5-6 year old.
This is a well-written book that provides information to genuinely challenge young readers. Our five-year-old is currently at a reading level of 700-800L and really enjoys this book. She loves to remember the facts included. I find the text simple enough for her to read, yet challenging enough that she is learning significantly. I believe it is suitable for any young reader who has a passion for learning. The information is organized by function, and each body system/function is described in simple terms.

So informative!
This is a kid-friendly book (my child has LOVED it since he was 2 years old, now he’s 3). We’ve read the whole book and he keeps going back to it time and time again. I love how educational it is but friendly it is for kids. My son has learned so much and I feel like he has a really good understanding of the body! I learn a lot too!
