Tlalocs Tribe woven cotton throw - well made. I love these blankets because they are a breathable woven fabric and nice for spring and fall. This is a great design - like a cave painting. I like the neutral colors so it can work with other similar decor without clashing at all. I would have preferred a larger twin bed size but this will work for now. I plan to use it on a full size futon in the living room which is coming soon, as the mattress is a dark brown so it will break that up and not seem so dark. I will still have about a foot of the mattress showing on each side of this throw but that is fine. It will look great and protect the mattress a bit, rather wash the throw every now and then than the mattress. I would wash with cold water on a gentle cycle with gentle detergent and very low to no heat ( to avoid any shrinkage ) or line dry with a bunch of clothes pins for good suppport and even hanging to avoid pointy pulled areas you'll have to work out once dry.

I have been planning this review from the minute I opened the package. If sentiment, quality and workmanship are important to you, this fits the bill. We ordered this for my son's new bedroom, which he is theming native American. The design was what sold us. I was hesitant to pay around $50 for a single blanket, but there were no other prints that satisfied what we had been searching for . After the fact, I read up on the company history and the fact that these blankets were still produced in the same manner right here in the US. Locality is something I take pride in supporting when I can, so this made it even better. The blanket itself-wow. It is absolutely beautiful. Soft. And it smelled soooo good right out of the package. Like it had just been laundered. I would happily purchase another one of these in support of this awesome company. We will treasure this for years!

i was skeptical of all the perfect reviews but this blanket looked really nice so i took the plunge. i'm a bit of a blanket collector, a blanket snob, i love a wonderful blanket. this petroglyph blanket is everything the excellent reviews say it is. definately all-cotton, woven-in and not printed on design, rich colors, elegant design, one side rich browns and the other side with the same design in teals, both sides soft and just beautiful.

It's SO pretty!! Have used it on my bed as a throw now for about two years, and I don't consider the bed fully "made" until it's on. The one and only thing I'm not thrilled about is the cotton stitching is VERY delicate, and I have a Lab who likes to jump up on my bed. Just a warning: dogs' toenails are death on these blankets. They snag horribly and there's nothing to do but cut off the threads that pull loose. I finally wound up taking the blanket completely off at night and putting it back on during the day only when I know I can keep an eye on him or he'll be in his kennel. Wear and tear happens, though; you have to live your life. I'm probably going to wind up buying a second one because at some point mine will certainly need to be replaced. But I can't stress enough how gorgeous it is.

This woven throw is attractive, and the colors are good for my Southwestern decor. It's a brown-sandstone type background, and the other main color is more rust than red. I didn't expect the fringe all the way around to have blue threads in it, or that the back would be shades of blue. It's not unattractive, but in my decor the blue side has to stay hidden. Ordered another throw from them and was pleased with the look, but it had the same blue reverse. It's lightweight, as others have said.

I have never taken the time to write a review but my expectations where so beyond exceeded, people need to know about this company.I’m not sure how you could improve on the quality and craftsmanship shown in this throw. Even for triple the price. Seriously had no idea it would be this nice For a company to be able to produce such magnificent textiles, in this country which clearly have been touched by people who genuinely care, that’s an amazing story.Keep up the great work and be proud of the what you do. I got this for my father because he loves hiking in the rock canyons of Utah. He will enjoy many a snooze with his beautiful blanket.
