Yes, they are expensive for basically a drilled out piece of metal, but if you don't have the time or desire to do it yourself, these are excellent. They are made from metal (vs. plastic for some of the competitors), well machined, and the larger end pieces provide area for the default clamps that come with the Honeycomb yoke and quadrant to be used. I bought some steel from Home Depot to do it myself but never got around to it. You won't be disappointed in the quality of these mounts.

Does what it is supposed to do, but a bit expensive for what it is, hence the four-star rating.

Too easy to install and mount, you can use either the Honeycomb Clamps or they include screw should you want to mount them that way. They are made of metal and it is sturdy, the cost is slightly annoying, if they include two so that both controller could be mounted that would be great!

Does what it's suppose to. It's good quality but I to find it to be expensive for a metal plate. I could've had one made for alot less.
