proper distance
I am a first timer on painting a veh. The paint and body shop wanted $3000.00 dollars to paint my truck there was no body work that needed to be done by watching U tube i did it myself and I am pleased to say i think i did a good job except for the right rear quarter panel i got a little to close to the body and i over sprayed a little section other than that i like what i did and the paint was not hard to work with

Nice shine
Sprays nice but may need a little reducer. Turn fluid volume lower and keep wet.

Buy another brand
You will 100% have orange peel. Followed the mixing directions and the paint still turned out bad. It’s definitely glossy but had thousands of pock marks. I ended up going to a local paint shop and paid $230 for a gallon, I did the same exact steps I did before with the Amazon paint and it turned out perfect. No clue what went wrong, I’m not asking for a refund, I’ll let it be a life lesson but I’d definitely go with another brand for anyone who’s thinking about buying this Amazon paint.

Dries slow
The coverage is exceptional. The gloss is very good. The only issue I have is the dry time is very long. Was expecting the paint to be dry in an hour it took several hours to be dry to touch. Since I am not using a booth that is a lot of time for something to contaminate the paint. Adding heat to speed up the drying caused it to loose the shine

You get what you pay for, it'll do the job, but not well.
You get what you pay for with this. It isn't necessarily "bad" paint, but I wouldn't use it on anything I cared about, personally.1.) It's really tough to tune the gun with this paint, you get either a huge wet gush or such a light mist you'd spend hours trying to get 1 even coat. This was with the exact mix ratio recommended. I did add about 1/2 a part of thinner which seemed to help, but it still goes on pretty thick.2.) Orange peel city. 2 projects, 2 independent guns, same result. If you're looking for a paint you can be a little careless with, this is it, because you're getting orange peel regardless.3. Ridiculous dry times (likely from how thick it is). Typically give about an hour between coats, but with this I had to do 2-3 & it'd still be pretty wet.

Orange peel city!!!
Orange peel city, followed the spec sheet mixed right, couldn't get it to lay down smooth. In my opinion there are better products out there for the money. This paint is not terrible it's just not as good as some of the other brands I've used....

Brilliant color, but way too thick
I didn't buy this paint from Amazon, I got it from a local supplier, but I need to get the word out. Following the recommended mixing ratio (4:1) and using their recommended hardener and it was still like trying to spray pancake syrup. I don't have any viscosity cups to test but just from the runoff from the stir stick I had worries. It actually laid down ok, but took forever to tack up for a second coat. If I had more patience, and more of this paint, I'd have experimented with reducing but one quart was enough to know to go elsewhere.
